PRG did a great job on my project. They hit tight timelines under very challenging circumstances (Covid etc.) and the prototypes they created generated the interest I needed to get the resources to go into production. Thanks to Logan, Corbin, Kyle and the rest of the team!
I started my project simply looking for a prototype firm to help me. By the end of the process PRG helped me design the packaging, logo, and prototype. They recommended a patent lawyer and a manufacturer once the process was complete. I could not have asked for a better company to help get my business on its feet. I would definitely recommend using them. They are professional, thorough, and truly talented people.
I started an e-commerce business selling on Amazon this year and decided face shields would be our first product. I really liked one of the designs PRG had and their price seemed good so I got into contact with them. They said they could do everything I was asking, so I was excited about finally getting my business going but things with PRG went poorly. The response times were terrible. My total correspondence with them took a month and a half when it shouldn't have taken more than a week. The person talking with me was always very slow to reply, and when I was trying to talk through the phone instead they were nearly impossible to get a hold of. I give them the benefit of the doubt with the phone calls though because she said she just had emergency surgery that week which would've made that more difficult, but that doesn't explain all the slow and inadequate email replies. I also asked if they would've been willing to send me 3 samples of face shields instead of having to order 12 on their website because the cost of ordering samples from so many companies was already $1000+ at that point. It took about a week+ for me to get an answer, which for some reason was a no. They were surprisingly inflexible on that which was odd considering we were talking about eventually doing orders in the tens of thousands of dollars together I received the 12 samples, which again took way too long to get sent out, and they failed to package any of the face shields properly. All of them were damaged and scratched when they came. Then, AFTER sending me the samples and talking to me for a month and a half saying they can do the orders, I was told that they no longer can sell the face shields to me to sell on Amazon with no explanation as to why, even though they knew I was selling on Amazon from the beginning. I don't know if they were stealing my idea of selling these face shields on Amazon or for some other reason, but they never told me so I can only speculate. After telling them about the scratches on the face shields and how I wanted a refund, they blamed Fedex even though they were obviously only damaged because of their packaging. After they refunded me, I see that they didn't refund me the full amount and shorted me $8 on the samples. Not that I care about $8, but this company was terrible to work with and set my company behind a month and a half in our schedule when from the beginning they could have just said they couldn't sell the face shields to us to sell on Amazon. EDIT: Google doesn't let me reply to PRG's comment, so I figured I'd update this. I phoned my credit card company to find out what happened with the charges and they said that PRG did in fact refund the same amount that was charged. The $8 difference was because of conversion fees charged at the purchase of the face shields as well as their refunds because it was a CAD card charging USD (neither of those fees show on your credit card statement), then combined with the minor exchange rate difference that accounts for the $8. With respect to the "PRG reserves the right to choose how products will be distributed" comment; that's totally fine, but your company wasted 6 weeks of my time by not communicating that at the beginning of our correspondence when you already knew I was selling on Amazon. You also didn't deny using my idea and selling this product on Amazon yourselves. While not illegal, it is sleazy. I wouldn't work with this company again
PRG went above and beyond to design and complete the construction of a functional prototype. My invention has complex moving parts made up of various materials that also required coordination with numerous domestic and international manufacturers. I was very satisfied with PRG from industrial design through construction of the functional prototype. Their solutions were logical and elegant and the product exceeded by expectations. They are now assisting me with the product manufacturing process and I intend to utilize them for additional services as the business grows.
Submitted plans for a invention for their review to see if they would be able to create it. Consistently ignored several phone calls and texts regarding status of the project. To this date still have no idea. Worst case scenario is they appropriated the invention.
PRG did a phenomenal job bringing my idea to fruition. Tyler Harrell (the President) and Beth Foster (Sales Associate) delivered on everything they promised. Their Project Management, Engineers, Designers, and Machinists all are very proficient and astute at their respective functions. The platform they use to track the progress of your project and disseminate information is ver very efficient.I m glad I made the decision to go with PRG I would highly recommend them to anyone else.

PRG Prototyping and its team helped get my design from pen and paper to a functional prototype. They educated me about the various pros and cons to certain materials and weights as well as informing me of various options to make my design the most functional and optimal. They also supplied me with a list of great manufacturers early on so I could start chatting with them about production. They were knowledgable and skilled and got the project done. The whole time I had descriptive updates and photos so I felt like I was there for the whole process. I have four stars because my project definitely fell on the back burner for the last month, even though it only had 3 hours left of work on it. Thanks to everyone involved and making my design a reality!
With no manufacturing experience I didn't know what to expect. The owner Tyler and staff was always available and helped me through the process ...in some cases they went over and above and "nailed it" on the logo I was having problems getting developed through another source. I look forward to the launch to the public and a very successful product. I would highly recommend their services.
