As a parent of multiple children who’ve gone to or are currently at PCA, i would give the lower school 5 stars… we’ve loved it! The staff and (most) teachers are loving, kind, and exceptional at their jobs. However, don’t expect the same level of excellence once your child gets into the middle school. Something unfortunate happens in the cohesiveness of the transition between 4th grade and into 5th and beyond. Based on my experience with the leadership in the middle school, id say it’s high time for a total revamping. The palpable discord, lack of communication, issues with discipline, and many other serious issues are glaring and have lead to a hostile and unhealthy environment for so many kids. We have been so disappointed with PCA, as of late, and feel the high cost of the education is just not worth the price tag anymore. This will likely be our last year. It’s a sad day when a parent starts to believe a kid is better off at a public school than at a private Christian school.

PCA is an excellent school. The academics are rigorous and they challenge and love your kids. They seek to make them better all around - spiritually, academically, emotionally, and encourage them to try new things and push themselves. The other families are very welcoming and friendly. We have been nothing but blessed since making the switch to PCA!

After a year of seeing my goddaughter verbally bashed and academically stymied by antiquated and un-Christian teachers and teaching, her parents took her out for the sake of her self-esteem and grades. As a long-term resident, I recommend the local public schools highly over this bastion of hate.

Best decision we ever made! Our child thrives in the diverse environment, well balanced academic challenges, activities for all interests not just academics and loving Christ-centered community. Worth the money and sacrifice for this educational environment.

Full disclosure - I work at PCA, my wife works at PCA and I have four children who attend PCA...so, of course we love this place. But, 15 years ago I was a skeptic and opposed to private schooling. God did a work in me, primarily through the vision and efforts of the PCA Head of School Dr. Larry Taylor. I can tell you from experience, this isn't your "typical" private Christian school - this is a training ground to equip young men and women for the obstacles and opportunities they'll face in the world. Check it out - ask about their worldview training, leadership training, and diversity emphasis. You will be impressed with their arts, athletics and academics - and how well-rounded their academic programs are for different level students. If you find a better Christian school anywhere, let me know - from my experience, this is THE place!

This is a wonderful school that is faithful to strong Christian values, excellent academics and great sports. More than any other school in the DFW area, I trust the direction and leadership of PCA for the good of my children.

We were extremely disappointed in this school and removed our child after a year of intense teasing by other children. There is a group of kids that get away with anything and basically run the school. After many conversations with the administration, nothing was ever done. Very disheartening.

PCA elementary school is outstanding in every way from the academics to the loving atmosphere and excellent guidance from the teachers and principal. We have tried our neighborhood public school and Christian homeschool and neither came close to the quality of the well rounded education that PCA provides. After seeing the spiritual and academic growth of our children the past four years, we understand now how important it iis to begin attending PCA from the start instead of waiting until Jr. High or High School to attend. Our oldest is in 5th grade, and we are just as pleased with the middle school. Since we have four children, we are thrilled to know that PCA Plus online is offered starting in middle school if we need that option in the future.

Pretty Building on the outside, but very ugly on the inside, Racist Hypocrites No Diversity Programs or Teachers In Place To teach students about the different cultures especially African American Boys. Although other parts of the building looks nice, the 8th Grade Dungeon down in the basement is nasty, dirty, and smells of mildew, and although the students have to come prepped out in their nice uniforms, the teachers come looking like raggedy Ann Dolls that just rolled out of bed and the male teachers like Farmer Jones. Very disappointed in this Non Christian School who taught Seperation.Discrimination, and Discord . Mr. Wendell 8th Grade Principle is evil and seeks to devour and destroy young Black Boys especially the Athletes. 8 African American Families are gone now they should all be happy !

This school is all about politics. They are hypocrites. Jesus teaches you to love your neighbors. This school is the opposite. They have bullies. I believe it's one of the pastors kids that likes to bully the other kids. What a great example.

My daughter has gone there for fourteen years and graduates this month. Have another daughter in fourth grade. We have been blessed by the leadership and faculty at this school. The program has gone beyond our expectations. They hold themselves to a high standard and it shows in the children they are educating. If you want your child to grow up with God in their hearts and minds, this is where they need to be.
