Billing for these lots in Nashville is very confusing.
(Particularly 4th & Shelby)
Confusing enough that I gave $20 to a guy that later found out was impersonating a lot attendant, and ran off with I estimate over $200 I witnessed him take from myself and others, not to mention how much he got before I got there.
I later noticed an extremely sun-bleached sign that advised to only pay the parking machine/kiosk, so it sounds like they've had this issue before.
Once I figured out that you can use your phone to pay via the Mertopolis app/service; I did that and everything was fine.
Several hours later, I returned to my vehicle before my time was up, only to find a parking ticket claiming I did not pay the $40 to park, and that I need to pay for my parking in addition to the violation fine, totaling $55.
I submitted a dispute, only to be told that I need to provide the Metropolis receipt. The Metropolis "receipt" was only shown on my screen for a short time after I parked, and there is no way to go back into Metropolis to see your previous transactions.
(Still working on getting this sorted out, will update.)
I understand that some of these issues isn't directly Premier's fault, but hopefully someone else may be able to learn from my mistakes/experiences, and at least be informed of them before they go to visit Nashville.
Personally I will probably avoid Premier Parking lots and/or other lots that use Metropolis for payment processing, just to avoid any other situations like this in the future.
I get that I could've used the traditional pay machine, (and believe me, I will in the future!) but why push the mobile pay so much if it is so unintuitive?
Other than that, the lot although small and narrow, appeared to be in good condition, and relatively well lit at night.
