I see others describe this as a SCAM and I concur. DO NOT give them your credit card! I have canceled 3 times now and they continue to steal money from my account. I just got off the phone and the excuse is that they are not getting an email that I have already sent 2 times telling them to cancel. Seems very convenient that things do not work when you want to stop charges. 3 months paying for nothing. When people have to resort to these tactics, that means they are hungry and are willing to do anything to take your money.

First visit to the home office and it was beautiful. The building is huge, but there is still a sense of togetherness from all the staff inside. Everyone was friendly from start to finish during my visit. I learned more about the founder and company from the staff than I ever could by reading online. To anyone who is a member or an associate, visiting the home office isn't an experience you'll soon forget.

We try out LegalShield since we are a small business that just started and need to save money on legal fee. Well you get what you paid for.
They didn't bother to mention that there was no "lawyer" close to our area. The nearest Lawyer that part of their team is 45 - 50 minutes away.
There was so many restriction of what the membership entail and what the lawyer could help you with. We end up getting a temp lawyer for any transaction that require legal advise.
Instead of LegalShield get yourself a local lawyer, some even have free consultation, and offer better help.

I pay into the Personal 25 dollar per month plan. So far I haven't used my benefits other then related offers I recieved in the mail. However, LegalShield has made it easy to clear up situations where businesses have acted discriminatory or unfair in their billing practices just by me mentioning that I am paying into a plan with them. I have peace of mind that if any of those types of situations escalate into needing a third party to mediate, I will be referred to someone who will take my case pro-bono or based on a percentage of the settlement. Thank you for making a legal service like this accessible and affordable to help people save on one of the largest types of expenses in existence.

I was a member of this service and I am extremely disappointed and I regret ever signing up and paying for this service through my employer.

The provider law firm that LegalShield set me up with was not helpful and all they did was pass me along to other law firms.

The other law firm that LegalShield directed me to in my contract was horrible as well. Their attorney sabotaged me and purposely ignored my emails and calls so that I would lose my case. I took him off my case and had to pay for another attorney to help me and now the original firm will not give me back the money I paid as a retainer even though they said they would.

Also an agent I spoke to on behalf of LegalShield said that my membership would not automatically cancel if I changed my employment and that they would reach out to me to have the membership continued. That was also a lie.

I would not recommend LegalShield or any law firms in connection with them.

I would tell anyone about my experience to save them from the nightmare I experienced.

Legal Shield is 100% an MLM SCAM!!! STAY AWAY!!! I was a member with my business for about a year, every time I needed any sort of legal help, it wasn't included in my plan and they would try to send me to an attorney who would still charge hourly rates? So, the membership is of no value. That's why I cancelled two years ago!

Well, wouldn't you know I got a letter asking me to renew, which I didn't choose to do. So, I didn't respond, and yet they charged me anyway. When I called to get a refund, it took four different calls to different listed business numbers to get someone on the phone, and then got transferred and put on hold. Meanwhile, I had to jump through hoops with sending a cancellation letter, and the lady I spoke to said she didn't handle the refunds, that's a different department and that it may take up to 60 days to process my refund of $1416 which I did not authorize! Unacceptable and ridiculous. I imagine they make a lot of money not processing peoples cancellations and re-billing them without their permission. This kind of business practice should be a crime!

I love how easy it is to call a lawyer when a police officer pulls me over for some bogus routine traffic stop and how fast he let's me go when I press the emergency Legalshield instant lawyer button within my app. I love a simple easy app to navigat. blessed to have such a fantastic app and service.

I love it, legal shield has helped me ,in so many ways ,they have rescue me from many overseen problems that I have had. I recommend them to my family and friends .

I've been a memeber more than a year ago paying $24.95 a month ,they
haven't really help me at all .Im not sure if I was talking to the lawyer.
After more than a year called again ,the number they gave me is not responding ,they will play music ,for half an hour then hung up called few times but they never answer with the real person.
