Prairie Guest House Review

My wife and I chose to spend our 30th wedding anniversary at Prairie Guest House. Our suite was extremely clean, the bed very comfortable, the handicapped accessibility of the bathroom was excellent. The bathroom featured a beautiful walk-in shower.
Fiona the cat popped in and said hello during our breakfast at the separate dining facility. Our hosts were friendly and cordial and the breakfast was a wonderful departure from the normal fair.
It was so nice to get away from the city lights and enjoy one-on-one time with my wife at a great facility.

We just returned from spending 4 nights at the Prairie Guest House and we couldn't be more pleased. We had out of town family stay here as a wedding HQ, and also had our son and daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner on property. The house and dining facility were ideal for what we wanted and couldn't have imagined staying at a hotel for this weekend. John and Karen were super flexible and accomodating and fantastic hosts. The food was praised by all for breakfasts and the dinner. Property has such great character that we loved. Will be staying here next time in town for sure.

We loved staying here, it's less than 5 minutes to Conner Prairie. Are room have a sitting area outside, perfect for some coffee and blankets to watch the moon and stars, the weather was perfect with fresh air and clear sky! Not forgetting the breakfast! Best part of my morning, it was delicious!

We came to Indy for a wedding at Conner Prairie in late September 2019. We had planned on staying only three nights, but due to the excellent accommodations and fantastic breakfasts; we decided to stay for another two nights. John and his wife were excellent hosts. Thank you!

Beautiful location!!! Quiet and great atmosphere. The owners were kind and breakfast was delicious!! Omelets, bacon, english muffins, fresh fruit and that picky kid who must have fried eggs...no problem! Would highly recommend!!
