Reliable Service
PECO's top priority is providing reliable service to its members. The cooperative invests heavily in maintaining its infrastructure to ensure that power outages are minimized or avoided altogether. PECO's linemen are highly trained professionals who work tirelessly to keep the lights on for their members.
In addition to investing in infrastructure maintenance and upgrades, PECO also uses advanced technology such as automated meter reading (AMR) systems that allow for more efficient monitoring of energy usage. This technology helps identify potential issues before they become major problems.
Affordable Rates
As a not-for-profit organization owned by its members rather than shareholders seeking profits from electricity sales; Prairie Energy offers some of the most competitive rates in the region while still providing high-quality service. Members can take advantage of various programs designed to help them save money on their energy bills such as load management programs which incentivize customers for reducing their energy usage during peak demand periods.
Community Involvement
PECO takes pride in being an active participant within the communities it serves through various community outreach initiatives such as sponsoring local events or supporting local charities through donations or volunteer work done by employees at Prairie Energy Cooperative.
Environmental Stewardship
