This is the only place I trust with my cars. Excellent service and very fair pricing. Did wonders with my 70s Lincoln, and when my partner s 74 Cadillac needed an emergency repair, he had it done the next day. Would recommend to anyone in the Columbus area.

Not only are these guys fair & honest, they have never tried to "up sell" me. I can't say the same for most shops I've been to. Kudos to Eric for running an honest shop!! His mechanics are AWESOME & have always treated my Yukon better than they do their own vehicles!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOP!!

Went in for a check up on my car by appointment and it was very quick. There was no waiting to be served, they took my keys and got it hooked up and had my car back to me. I spent about 30 minutes there in total. Staff was friendly and professional. I will be back as needed.

Positive Performance does an outstanding job in servicing our cars! They have excellent customer service, are open and willing to answer any questions you have, and most importantly Only fix those things that need repaired! I have been to other places where you go in for an oil change and need five more things fixed! Their work is affordable and done in a timely manner! We send our friends there with no hesitation! I am a lifetime client of Positive Performance. They have consistently treated me fairly and I have complete confidence they will continue to do so well into the future. They take wonderful care of my older vehicle(s).
I haven't worried about finding a decent mechanic in Columbus, Indiana now for sometime, thanks to Positive Performance's reminding me of my scheduled maintenance needs. I receive an email when I have an oil change coming up and the mileage recommendation is always stated.
It is easy to get an appointment within a week and I can wait for the work to be completed in a timely manner when requested.

I enjoy fixing my own cars to the point of just about anything that is serviceable without needing crazy expensive machines to do it. So I take my car here for things that I don't have the right tools for, or for little things that I just don't have time to diagnose myself. They do NOT charge for diagnostic/troubleshooting time which is amazingly helpful. After living in Columbus for almost 5 years now, I have been going to Positive Performance for about a year and a half. I had tried a few other popular places in town with a lot of good reviews but they just haven't come close to Positive Performance. This shop is always either the cheapest I can find, or is tied with another shop on quotes. They also always listen to my situation and are insanely accommodating in the troubleshooting process once they have the car - letting me know how the troubleshooting is going and never doing anything or charging me for something I didn't have time to think about and agree to beforehand. Front desk is usually understandably busy, but is very kind and makes time to listen and discuss with you. My only sadness is that they don't do front end alignment :[ Thank you Positive Performance and keep up the great work.

I had taken my car to another shop that said my rotors needed replaced. Here I was assured they were ok and did not need replaced. They replaced all 4 brake pads for a fraction of the cost and did it within 2 days of calling! The quick, honest, friendly staff and well done work have made a loyal customer of me!

Timing chain replacement. The dealer quoted me $3600, positive performance quoted me $900 less! They replaced my timing chains and met the quote as well. Reccomend 10/10.
Excellent service, explains repairs, doesnt overcharge or fatten up bill. Quick turnaround. I would (and have) recommend to anyone needing car work done!
