It took so long to make an appointment. They had me tell them what our problems were and then I had to wait a week for someone to decide they wanted us and call us back. That person's schedule didn't work with mine at all, so I got thrown back in the queue for another week.

The waiting room is not kid-friendly, which is surprising since they supposedly offer counseling for children. There is a tv very high up, and with how close the chairs are, it is difficult to watch it. The only show that ever played was inappropriate cartoons that I feel are for older kids or adults. The room is full of breakable decorations and there is a water cooler in the corner (like Culligan) that kids naturally want to mess with. It was a nightmare trying to keep my younger kids from destroying things while their sibling was at his appointment. There is a room full of toys, but because it's just for kids receiving counseling we weren't allowed in.

Also, the "counseling" consisted of the counselor playing a board game with my son every visit and nothing seemed to improve.

The whole situation was so stressful at a time when we really needed help. It left me exhausted and jaded about the effectiveness of counseling anywhere else either.

I only gave one star because there's not the option of giving zero. I tried for 10 days to make an appointment for counseling with this company. I had to call three times, was promised call backs, but the only call back I got was one trying to sign me up for extra services that I did not need. The person said they were Medicare services so I should take advantage of them. Why, when they're not needed? All I wanted was counseling, but they seemed very unwilling to make that happen.

After moving here a year ago, we came to this practice for ADHD medication management with Dr. Katter. She oversaw two of my kids medication for the 2019-2020 school year. Our experience here has been mixed, and ultimately we chose another provider that seems more caring and attentive to our needs. Initially we had issues with billing and insurance, using dual insurances, but after several months and a couple phone calls, got that worked out.

This is a great clinic. The staff is very caring and competent. Appointments can be hard to come by, but they are very good about getting you in if there are cancellations. I highly recommend PVFC.

I highly recommend this place! These people are amazing!! My family has been recieving services from them for the past 10 years. There are many wonderful staff members we have had the privilege of working with and we love them! The receptionists are very friendly and super kind. They go out of their way all the time to make sure my children feel important, accepted and safe. The care we have received from this place through all the many years of counseling, medicine management, CBRS services, and others has been excellent!!

Renee Katter put me on a very addictive mood stabilizer, reassuring me after I expressed fear that I'd hurt myself If i was cut off from this medication again because of the intensity of the withdrawals, she would not do that. Then, around came a holiday and she canceled our appointment and didnt renew my prescription. There were no appointments available for six weeks. On top of that absurdity she showed a complete lack of care. She hurried us out of every appointment, each lasting about 5 minutes, but would always charge us for the full appointment.
