It's a real nice place. Clean. Pleasant bathrooms with game commentary piped in. A tremendous amount of beer stands and the food is above average for a park. They get you in and out pretty quickly. So, I enjoy going there for soccer games. You should too.

We went to the Timbers v Dynamo match and, although my Houston hometown team lost, I was very impressed with the atmosphere of the place! No peanuts available inside the park, though, was a little disappointing. The facilities seemed a little dated, but at the end of the day we were there for a soccer match, and that ended up being one of the most entertaining, fans included, matches I've ever seen!

Stadium is excellent! There is not a single bad seat in the place, so you are guaranteed to feel like you are a part of the game, whether football or soccer. With the installation of troughs into the men's restroom it has significantly cut down on lines. Only complaint is the stadium could definitely use more seating, but I understand the complexities behind that.

I've never had a bad experience here. Easy to get in and out of and has some of the best vending and food you can experience in almost any stadium anywhere. Even if you're not a Timber's fan, you have to go once to experience the energy of the place.

Made the mistake of not bringing the right type of coat. I was drenched. Not a place for kids cause of the fans cheers are very aggressive but to each is own to what a parent exposes their kids to.

Jeld Wen Field (Now Providence Park) is an great place to go for Timbers and PSU Vikings games. Right in the heart of the city and with easy access to the MAX. I have enjoyed every time I've gotten the change to go to a game. It can be a bit of challenge if you decide to drive, as parking gets difficult around that area. I recommend always taking the MAX. Find the nearest Trimet Park and Ride to your location and leave your car there.

Crowds that are overwhelming & overrun the normal routes for pedestrians, MAX trains so packed you can not get off when it's you stop, people camping out on sidewalks, drinking in public, leaving piles of garbage behind them with no regard for other people trying use the sidewalks as intended while roads are closed off and parking nightmares abound.....

Worked the Timbers game. Great stadium, just got so completely lost on multiple occasions. My 15 minute break turned into 45 minutes, and wasn't able to get off my feet at all... Trying to navigate was difficult and hardly anyone who worked there knew where anything was. I was working the club lounge/VIP area, so it was a little funny that so many people had no clue how to get to it. Clearly the employees who don't work the lounge have no need to know how to get there :P

Go Thorns! Go Timbers!

Go Thorns! Go Timbers!
A fun time with the family. The kids enjoyed the thorns game more than baseball. The stadium was clean and well staffed. We'll probably go again. Some discounts can be found on tickets through Groupon and work-related deal sites.

Seating and game experience is good! Concession prices are STEEP. I love how easy it is to get here on the Max though! TriMet runs extra trains after the games to get everyone home fast too.

It is a beautiful setting, in a gorgeous city and it's clean, the staff is friendly...like in the olden days. It's the type of place that makes me want to sing, "Take me out to the ballgame, take me out to the ballgame!"

Providence Park is home to the Portland Timbers, a team whose fans are just as exhilarating to watch of the game. While not the largest stadium around, it's a beautiful stadium with a well thought out layout that allows for easy exit and a good view from nearly anywhere in the stadium.

If you want to truly experience a Timbers game, get a general admission ticket and sit in the Timbers Army. It's been described as a religious experience, in which you'll get in touch with your tribal roots as you are caught up in the chanting.

If you do sit in general admission, makes sure to get there early. If not you may end up stuck the upper corners, which have a limited view of the field.

Went to a Timbers game about a month ago--probably the most fun I've had at a professional sports event in the US. Timbers Army does a great job revving everyone up & they've really done an amazing job renovating this stadium for soccer. The quality of play was awfully poor by both teams, but the Timbers are an expansion club of course, so I'm willing to give them some time!

If you have even a casual interest in soccer and are visiting Portland, look into getting some tickets. Some of the most clean, cheap fun you can have in our fair city.

Great place to see an MLS game. Though I honestly don't have anything to compare it to since it was my first ever MLS game. Drinks were decently priced, as was the merchandise booths. If you want merch, different booths have different items for sale, so check them all out first!

This is a must-visit any time you come to Portland. If you want a true soccer experience that's unique and unlike any other city in the US, Providence Park is the place to visit. It's the closest you can get to a European soccer experience without leaving the States. Great food and locally crafted beers. If you want to get rowdy, I highly suggest the army section!

Home of the Timbers and Thorns. One of the best stadiums I've ever been to. Easy to get in and out. Never too long to wait for food service. Friendly and welcoming staff. It's always a pleasure to see a game here.

Great place to catch a soccer game. The new sections, which we sat in for the Thorns game, definitely had more comfortable seating than the old sections, which we sat in for a Timbers game. Cool local food options throughout the stadium.

I've been going to this stadium back when the Portland Beavers were playing ball here, and in comparison to the renovation it was a turd. Now it's turnet up, crowds go wild for the Timbers and tickets are decently priced. Place looks amazing.
