Porterville Citrus, Inc. Review

Absolutely horrific. Almost 20 hrs and still not loaded

Had a pick up of 6 pallets. Told 5 hrs on a goodday. Checked in at around 11am, didn't leave until about 9pm. Gave 2 stars because of clean restrooms. Luckily there's a little market across the street with good burritos.

Came in last night, they told me my load wasn t ready. I went to my other 2 pickups and came back this morning. Open sat 7-5. Checked in at 0700, got right into a dock. Loaded quickly. Went to scale out. Closest cat scale is 5 miles away. I am heavy on my drives. Called them and let them know I was headed back. They got me right into a dock. Redoing my load. Very nice and understanding people.

I've been coming here for years. Nothing changes. You waits HOURS... You watch other trucks come and go. Does no good to complain. But I have seen other truckers lose their mind on these people. Even when I called this morning over the phone. I heard a trucker blasting them for making him wait over night. I dont see how this company stays in business.

Easy to find and clean restrooms. But 10+ hours and still no dock. Brutal.

Checked in at 9:30 AM and now it s 11:50 PM, still waiting and old man keep on saying one thing load not ready even without checking anything. Finally found a shipper worse than Taylor farms in Salinas.

Got a door right away the guys worked fast and I was out of there an 1 hour and 30.

.....if you going through barker field scale 86 miles out
.....flying back the other way not that many miles
....open at 7am closed at 1am
.....they took mee way early then my apartment....with great timing to get going
....nice and quite
....don t talk to much
If your planning on parking here grab some food before going there
You have a small truck stop at the red lights

If your coming from the LA area you can hit exit 26 or 28
That s a straight shot

This place (SUCKS) we have been waiting in the dirt parking lot for over 10 hours to pickup 7 pallets. As we watch other drivers that got here well after us.
