Our experince with Funeraria Porta Coeli can be described as compassionate, caring and professional. They were very accommodating to our needs and desires and treated our father with dignity and respect. Everything was explained in detail and to our satisfaction. We highly recommend their services.

Porta Coeli Funeral Home treated my brother and I like family. They treated me mithers remains as lie of their family members. The staff had patience, empathy, and are so kind and helpful. I am in New York and even though I couldn't be there, they spoke with me and answered all of my questions. I had a letter emailed to me for work and my mother's ashes are back faster than we expected in this time. I wanna thank everyone there, all the staff.

Very quick, straight-forward process. Mila was wonderful, and the fact that she speaks Portuguese was a blessing.

The cemetery services has been awful. We are still dealing with this problem. This should had been take care from day one. Myself and my son shouldn t have to be chasing them to do the job right. Where they put my daughter name and dates you can t see it when the one below hers put flowers for they love ones. Then the couldn t get the right plague and message that we want for her. No one call us I had to go in and complete about it. After a week or so we thought it was all taking care of it, but it still it s not. We order all year flowers for my daughter and they still haven t put them up the simple thing they could have done the same day. Just putting the flowers up. On top of going through the tragedy of losing my daughter I also have to deal with this. Not satisfied at all.

Porta Coeli Director Ms. Franco gave my family exceptional service for my brothers funeral. His death has been the most tragic event in our life, and losing a loved one is not easy, Ms. Franco from the moment we walked in the door to the departure at the burial was unbelievable. Her welcome to the funeral home and her professionalism placed her above and beyond the customer service scale and made the decision making easier. The service was amazing and affordable, giving my brother the service he very well deserved. From the Lantern ceremony to the Dove Release making it a memorable departure for the family. I would recommend Porta Coeli with Ms. Franco to anyone who loses a loved one.

Funeraria Porta Coeli in Florida recently helped my family with the burial of my Dad. Their services were outstanding from their viewing arrangements to the transportation of his body to Puerto Rico where he was finally buried. Mila was our main contact and we really appreciate her attention to details and her professionalism through the entire process. Porta Coeli staff was very attentive to my family needs during this difficult moment in our lives. We are really appreciative for their services.

The friendly and knowledgeable staff made the whole experience a great one. The facilities are very spacious and clean. I compared several places and this was the best value.

It was a friendly, professional atmosphere. The director was respectful and honored my wishes on how I wanted my loved one to be dressed. I did the simple cremation process and they were respectful enough to present me with his remains in their lovely chapel with candles lit and a beautiful white rose, with the American flag he was draped in returned back to me. I appreciated how delicate they were with the process.

Amidst this crazy pandemic, we unexpectedly lost our grandma at 89 years young. Due to her delicate state, Cornerstone Hospice suggested that we have pre-arrangements made. I immediately thought of Porta Coeli, and so glad that I did. Upon my grandma's passing at her nursing facility, Porta Coeli sent in to have her picked up. As we could see through the window, we could immediately see the compassion, care and diligence in the way they handled her. It was as if it was their relative, and it gave us lots of comfort. Both staff members wore formal suits, had an extremely clean and professional demeanor, and were solemn and respectful to our suffering. Once outside, they reminded us that - due to funeral protocols - we could not see her, however they stopped to speak with us and let us know that she is well taken care of and will be taken immediately to the funeral home. We were assured I would get a phone call later in the morning from the funeral director to proceed further.

That's when Ludmila de Oliveiros (Mila) called. She was an angel. Her soothing voice and human compassion is simply worthy of recognition. She made an appointment with me to finalize paperwork and else, and from that point forward, all expectations exceeded. There was no pressure at all in sales of any kind. She cared more about our wishes and needs, yet found the perfect time to suggest some memory items that our family would appreciate in due time. We had my grandma's fingerprint taken, in case we wanted to have on a piece of jewelry in the future. Glad we did.

Unfortunately, and due to COVID 19 (and not of any fault of Porta Coeli), it took over a month to have all finalized. The system is so backed up, that getting ashes and a certificate seemed like an eternity. Nonetheless, Mila made the time to arrange the pick up of ashes in a ceremonial and most dignified experience I could have imagined. She gave me a place to mourn and take pictures, and feel at peace. For that, we are very grateful.

Porta Coeli came through for my family as we endeavored to do a proper send-off to our loved one who passed on. Being in the hands of those with the experience and compassion to walk you through it makes all the difference. The funeral director, Mila, did exactly that for my family when we were faced with this inevitable loss. Also need to recognize the priceless effort, promptness and respect which Glen and William conducted at our home they truly represent a invaluable asset with their polished competence.

The director and the entire staff at Porta Coeli funeral home were just fantastic. They help me so much and provided me with the best help I needed in the dificult moment. I am very greatful for all the help they provided me and with their patience. I defenetely recomend Porta Coeli.

A family's passing is never easy, especially when it is a parent, however the empathy, sympathy, and the overall respect and care we received from Porta Coeli was by far the best we have experienced. Our family has been through quite a few deaths unfortunately, and we have never been treated with such caring as we did through Porta Coeli, especially Ludmila de Oliveira. Although we did not have the funds to do what we hoped for, she made it as special and easy as possible. She even offered to pray over my father with our small family present and encouraged everyone to remember the good times and had everyone say at least one awesome memory that we each had of him. I highly recommend them in this special time and will definitely seek them out when the time comes back around. Thank you again for all you did for me and my family.
