The management body of the port is quite poor. The work is not organized any more because people lose their materials each time they have been sent from outside.
In addition, port workers steal parts of our vehicles.
So the administration can not take action to this practice ???

Port to go to the island of Goree, especially to visit the house of slaves. The welcome and organization in is pretty good. People are smiling, the military and the police are doing their job pretty well. Access to the port station is very guarded. This is the starting point for Casamance, there is a departure almost every 2 days.

Safe and secure place, respected standards and instructions

Quite punctual and safe.
Public ferries also depart from here to the island of Goree.

Good organization even if the shuttles for Goree sometimes take more than 30 minutes

Visited this port in 2014. Very nice place. Foods available in Dakar is tasty enough & with a moderate price. Perfume available there is also with cheap price.
