I love this place and everyone I've taken here loves it too! The nachos are amazing. Philly cheesesteaks are also great. The staff was super super friendly, we recently came for a birthday close to closing time and they accommodated us perfectly. Our server even stayed past close to serve us and didn't rush us at all.
This is a cute cabin style restaurant. We visited to try the infamous nachos everyone talks about. We encountered a slight mix up checking in for a table so, it took longer to be seated then the time frame given to us. The hostess transposed a number and our table was given to someone else since they thought we left.
After being seated, we ordered chicken nachos, the spring rolls, and the Brussels sprouts. Needless to say, the portions are a good size.
The nachos were pretty good. Very cheesy and tasty. The cheese is well cooked which can taste rubbery but good at the same time.
The spring rolls are less to be desired. We were thinking they would be traditional spring rolls wrapped in rice paper along with pineapple sticky rice. It resulted in a sliced roll wrapped in seaweed, steamed rice topped with a slice of pineapple out of a can. I can't say I'll ever order this dish again.
The Brussels sprouts were fresh, meaty and nicely roasted. It was served with marinara sauce which was much needed since they lacked taste and flavor. There was the missing taste of olive oil and salt. They were roasted and topped with parmesan cheese nothing grand.
The restaurant was okay for us but not a place we would come out of our way to visit or recommend.
Delicious food! Friendly waitress, great atmosphere. The food was a little pricey, but it was worth the taste. The quesadilla appetizer was delectable and was so big!!! Loved the portion sizes. They got my order right. Good place.
Great food and the best service on the planet. First time here and def going back. Management is amazing and offered us a large gift when they learned of a major loss we had. So kind, and really the nicest waiter I have ever had. Highly recommend this place.
We have wanted to go here for quite some time. We finally were in the spot to go for lunch, hoping things weren t crowded. We got right in! The hostess seated us and was very helpful in getting us a booster seat for our daughter. We looked at the menu for a few minutes and set them down, awaiting our server for our order. And we waited. And we waited. At one point they brought food to our table that was meant for our neighboring table. We still waited. It was busy. The wait staff passed our table countless times, and we watched while several more tables were seated and served drinks. After 20 minutes I went back down to the hostess and asked if they could send our server and explained we hadn t been helped yet. We waited 5 more minutes, watched at least three servers pass us again, and when no one seemed to be coming, we decided to leave. When we got to the entrance and asked for a Manager, our server, Lance, came down and asked if we had been helped yet and tried to seat me! I told him we had not and we had been sitting upstairs for almost 30 min! He said that was his table and he apologized. I told him he passed us numerous times and never once acknowledged us. I told him I was upset and he said he would tell the manager, I told him I would let him know myself. A few minutes later Dylan came as the Manager on duty. I explained that we had been waiting for 30 minutes and no one had approached us. I also explained it was our first, and probably last visit and it was disappointing since we had read great reviews. He said he was sorry, that Lance was just taking food out to a table and would help us, but I cut him off and told him we would be leaving and would most likely not be back. He apologized again and said he hoped to see us in the future. It was a very busy place, but that is no excuse to completely ignore a table of guests. There were at least 3 servers we saw upstairs and we were looked over for a half hour. Several times they looked at us in passing, never once offering assistance, or even to find our waiter. Luckily for us our 2 year old was uncharacteristically well behaved and patient. So disappointed.
The Porcupine Pub and Grill is delicious. The place is extremely popular and seems to always be crowded. The meat portion in the sandwich is very generous. You could really taste the smoke in the turkey which made it delicious. The chili Verde burrito had a kick to it which is probably why they put spicy in bold. Its worth checking out.
AMAZING!!! Amazing on several levels: the staff, the food and the RECOMMENDATIONS. Claudia was fantastic and made several perfect suggestions. We had the Philly w/Au Jus & Santa Fe chicken (as a wrap). I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the restaurant.
Great atmosphere, great food. Our waitress was on it. Very personable and attentive. Can't wait to go back.
It was very busy and long wait on Mother's day. We stayed at the ski resort over weekend and my hubby thought not to wait at Silver fork restaurant today but head down. They still tried their best to accomodate all.
Good place. Good food. I always have such a hard time deciding which item to pick.
