Ponte Vedra Inn & Club Review

We were celebrating a friend's birthday at the Surf Club. Service was SUPERB. Food was great.

Everything was incredible, all around. Mike in reservations and Maricris at the Seahorse restaurant really took care of us and helped make the already fantastic trip even more memorable.

Very swanky place, our company had a seminar there. Great place for a seminar.

Great place. Nice staff. The beach was kept very clean.

Nice resort but facilities are only for members and guests.

Was here for a rehearsal dinner before a wedding, everything was excellent and the service was amazing

It was a great place to stay. The staff was very hospitable. We had a great view of the ocean. I just wish our bed had been a little larger. It almost felt like we were sleeping on a full size bed, although it was probably a next. Next time we make reservations, we'll specify the size of bed. 4.5!

Great beachfront hotel with many amenities such as golf, tennis, a spa and several restaurants. Rooms are very spacious with large kitchen, dining and living areas.

My wife and stay every year in this lovely historic inn and club. We stay in the historic building where the check-in reception is located. There are other rooms located on the beach across the road. Although the main building is old, the rooms and common areas are still luxurious, elegant, and quite large by today's standards. The rooms are so well maintained and clean that they look as if they were new. Our favorite room is large with a king size bed, lovely marble tile work in the entrance and bath, and modern furnishings. The air conditioning is very quiet and effective with discrete long horizontal vents along one wall that allow for effective yet quiet air conditioning. In November and December the rates are often lower except for the main holidays. There is a large common room with two huge gas fireplaces and plenty of comfortable seating for reading and watching people. Adjacent to the common room is a small bar and pool table. There is abundant free self parking. The inn has three fine restaurants and there are several other fine restaurant one Rte A1A about 20 minutes away by car.

Loved everything about this weekend!!! Parking was nuts. No spots. But the very nice gentlemen in the golf carts ran us to wherever we needed to be on the property for a weekend wedding!!

Wonderful place to vacation...and the beach is spectacular

I ran the Donna marathon through the inn and club area again this year. The staff and spectators were awesome, as always!!!

First time visit for a "staycation" with my wife for our Wedding Anniversay. The view of the beach was awesome! The staff was helpful and friendly. I only wish we had a King size bed instead of two full size beds for the two of us. The room was comfortable and clean. The gym is real nice comfortable and clean in these Coronavirus times. Overall a great experience for our short weekend getaway!

This private club is always a joy, with staff that attends to every detail. The property is full of charm, the food and drinks are delicious, and my wife really enjoys visiting the spa, which is open to the public too.

Wow!! Beautiful spacious rooms with all the amenities. We stayed in the island house. The room was what a beach resort should be. Spacious room with a kitchenette. Luxurious bathroom. A great view of the balcony. The staff are so welcoming and helpful. I can't wait to hit the golf course. I would highly recommend this place.

Stayed at St. John s house this summer... didn t like it... it needs some renovation... tried to move to renovated beach front room to no avail... love the atmosphere though...

For Easter weekend, our family visited Ponte Vedra and stayed and the PV Inn and Club. As always, we had a wonderful time, the room was fantastic (clean, comfortable, all amenities you could ask for) the staff is professional and courteous, the beach was nice, and the overall grounds are well maintained. We had lunch 3 days and dinner one night (the other meal, we did our traditional sushi for parents pizza for kids, on the beach). Food at resort is above average for a hotel (this is also a Private membership club, so big bucks are being dropped here) . The one thing that was lacking this time around was the service. Long waited a for server to come to table, multiple requests to get basic things like drink refill, chips and salsa (which they bring out during lunch), and long wait for food. This was out forth time staying here, and we never experienced this before hotel was as full as it has ever been when we have stayed... Maybe they were training the staff for upcoming summmer season, who knows. Nonetheless, we had a wonderful time and will definitely return. Sorry to have to leave a 4 star review for what has always been 5 star.

Huge spacious rooms that face the ocean. The beds are really comfortable.

Very happy with this place. I got a room that Overlook the beach beautiful sunrises and great shots of the moon in the evening. Very nice Beach. The rooms were very well equipped and stylish and up-to-date. My room contained a refrigerator shower along with a jacuzzi tub separate area for restroom or a large room that led right out to the beach. easy access to all the dining and entertainment establishments connected to the resort. All street parking right in front have your hotel room

A great discovery. I hope to get back there soon. Rooms on the beach, great food, golf and more.

Really hard to believe this is considered 5 star our experience has been anything but so far. I ve honestly had better service at Holiday Inn. If my company wasn t paying I would certainly check out. Incredibly overpriced very average property.

I do want to recognize that the hotel did make things right at checkout by taking care of some significant charges (spa,meal) and based on their response I would consider giving the hotel another chance. Props to the manager for taking care of this.

Gracious, 90 year old resort. Magnificent public spaces and luxurious rooms.

This resort was amazing. I ended up staying here for a business meeting and the facilities were outstanding. The room were top quality and spotless. Definitely a go to location when in the Jacksonville area.

The rooms were nice the view great and the food good but the manager of one restaurant was particularly obnoxious I don t know if she was drinking but she was very insulting towards my family and my self. I ll never forget her face an Asian women I believe her name was Lara or Faran but I will definitely not dine anywhere she is working at the resort. But enjoyed the rest of the stay

We went to a tennis match at the PVIC tennis facility. What a wonderful experience! The facility is top notch.
