The people in Pongees silk showroom are quite nice. I'm the student in MA fashion and looking for the professional help during the hard covid time. The sales helped me a lot. You can clearly see all price and quality fabrics in the showroom. If you need fabric especially silk and lace, it's a great place to look at.
I had an upcoming deadline at university and I ordered some silk mohair from Pongees for the deadline (I'm a fashion student). After ordering, I discovered it wasn't in stock and I needed it quite urgently, however the customer service was absolutely outstanding and Lauren who I spoke to via email was so helpful and friendly and ordered more fabric from the mill. It arrived in time and I went to collect it and received it from Louis who was also amazing. Definitely recommend!
Louis at Pongees' London showroom could not have been more helpful. I spent a very happy hour or so choosing fabrics and chatting, plus a very welcome cup of tea after a long walk all the way from Piccadilly. The silks are glorious, and the price very reasonable. Highly recommend.

Louis was incredibly helpful, welcoming and professional. Although I required material they don't usually supply, he pointed me in the right direction of a few other companies that did, and I shall certainly be going back to him when the occasion arises.

Really good showroom with a range of fabrics- great qualities and good prices. They have a good range of weights available. The staff are really helpful. Louis helped me and he is very knowledgable about fabrics. Nick is also great and when I asked him what fabrics and weights I was looking for, he popped samples in the post straight away which were perfect! Lovely company with a friendly and helpful manner. Always a pleasure to deal with. I visited their stand at the Textile Forum a few years ago and they were very helpful then too so I have always had impeccable service! Highly recommend this brilliant fabric showroom for all your fabric needs!
Love their silks. Great quality and very swift service. However their biggest selling point is their staff. So friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Cannot recommend highly enough. Just one thing would like to see eri and peace silks being offered.
Delightful experience in the Pongees showroom today. Louis could not have been more helpful. The range of fabrics is stunning. And the swatches are brilliant. Quite a find and worth the trip from Devon to find the perfect bridal party fabrics from a huge range of colours and silks. Can not recommend highly enough.
