A very important place on the map of Warsaw. I recommend to everyone

Interesting performances, but still a stranger to the Haunted Manor, staged in the 90s, made my spine shiver when I could hear the singing: "are you afraid to weigh?!" ...

Perfect place if you want to discover traditional polish theater/opera.

Teatr Wielki - National Opera - monumental, neoclassical building (from the nineteenth century) at the former Marywilski Square ... or a piece of the history of this untamed City; marked by the blood of his Brave Inhabitants (where even in the ruins of the theater, already destroyed by bombing in 1939, 350 civilians were executed during the Warsaw Uprising). Bending my head against the posterites (also creators of art) and remembering the past, I go here to face classical music and confront my sensitivity with the sounds of G. Bizet's opera, the fate of Carmen and the vision of director Andrzej Chyra. Intriguing set design and amazing music (with even the hit arias of Carmen, Torreador and Micaela - who has not heard them once ;-))) released me from the interpretation of what was happening on the stage. Although, despite the focus on music and great vocal performances (performed by Ewa Tracz / Micaela and Mariusz Godlewski / Escamillo and two "vicious" and highly expressive sopranos Joanna K dzior and Anna Bernacka - their parties liked the most) I noticed the mysterious form of writhing on the scaffolding of the Disheveled aka Ko tuna - as I allowed myself to define it for my own use ... So it is about whether to think ...
To sum up, I felt incredibly great in the audience and I really liked what I owe to the Artists and Beloved Niewia cie (which gives me the feeling I met and gave the gift as a gift ;-)))
I also wish you a feast for your ears and eyes, and why should you come here sooner ...

The biggest opera scene in the world. Absolutely worth visiting, especially for the the ballet performance of the Polish National Ballet. Located in the heart of Warsaw, close to other monuments and the Old Town.

We were just passing through at breakfast but we will come back because it is beautiful here. The neighborhood and even the cat invite you to enter. Breakfast hit for me - cottage cheese with dried tomatoes and apple pies, not fried, but baked, pride!

An impressive edifice, great rooms and performances. It is worth going to ballet.

Beautiful, climatically, with a smile and culture. A little hot both on the balconies and lower in the audience, but still fantastic. I recommend everyone to visit the opera and its building at least once. Live opera music sounds wonderful. No even the best carrier will give her beauty just like a big stage. I would recommend.

Monumental architecture makes a great impression and emphasizes the character of this cultural unit as well as the class and rank of events proposed in its rich schedule. We can find here colorful and classic opera at the highest world level, as well as elite events from the narrow specification of the latest multimedia solutions for the event industry, i.e. the fair called Tomorrow Scene.
I recommend both the repertoire of the best world directors, with the participation of brilliant artists from the domestic and foreign scene, as well as less popular, but extremely interesting and colorful events in the field of multimedia technology which is the Scene of Tomorrow.
This is an eye-catching event that works very suggestively on our senses, and wrapped in beautiful interiors of the Grand Theater. I highly and honestly recommend ....

A great place with great ballet. Definitely worth a visit

Every spectacle worth watching. This year I have been there three times - at the ballets "The Nutcracker" and "The Camellia Lady" and at the opera "Halka" in its contemporary setting. REVELATION!!! The highest level.

The beautiful Theater makes an impression just outside and inside the theater, everything neat and clean until it glows.

Here you can feel what the poet's words "I see huge theater" mean. There is also a charming place in the building, where you can spend a pleasant evening and even part of the night.

Great atmosphere, great acoustic, beautiful place. So far been there for two operas and definitely will go for more. People at the counter are very friendly and helpful. Very smooth entrance and exit, good choice of drinks and snacks during breaks, maybe can use a bit more seating. Anyway recommended :)

A magical place, crossing the thresholds makes us feel as if we entered another world.

The building is monumental from the outside, beautifully lit. Inside, it loses its charm, although the corridors and stairs are still impressive, but the hall itself, the quality and age of the seats, are already losing their smell. In addition, poor visibility due to the low drop between successive rows of seats.

Beautifull theatre where is possible to watch the best theatre plays. Elegant inside and majestic outside

Nutcracker - great music, perfect performance. Excellent set design and costumes. You can see the enormous amount of work put into this production. A wonderful choreography. Magical time..

Theatre is confortable and with easy access.
Staff is usually bilingual and very friendly.

A very exotic place full of class and culture, it's worth coming to listen.

Very nice and clean room. Welcoming staff. Great food with a menu where Mexican food predominates. Definitely recommend it.

A beautiful classicist building. The hall requires renovation and redesign, but it boasts the largest stage in the opera world.

Next to the opera house entrance, on the right, two parking spaces for the disabled and two charging stations for ING electric vehicles. Parking for bicycles centrally in front of the entrance. Stands solid and convenient to fasten bikes to the U-loock lock. Before entering, there are a lot of places for independent parking of the bike used by cyclists (examples in the pictures for the opinion).

A beautiful place for people who love music and good style.

Well, probably everyone knows what an opera is a beautiful edifice and high-level ballet, etc.

Really nice and fancy opera. Don't wear crappy clothes.

A magnificent theater beautifully dressed. There is an amazing atmosphere. In the buffet you can buy various snacks (bars, cakes), drinks, and plates. I've been many times and definitely recommend it to anyone.

Nutcracker ... . Beautiful ballet ... beautiful history, I felt like more than two hours ago, in another dimension, in another world

I am delighted with all the splendor, culture ... dance, music ... oh so music ... and everything with which our National Theater is related.
And the most important thing is that despite being late (not through your fault) - NO PARKING PLACES, MUCH MUCH EARLIER ARRIVING !!! and so I was admitted to this beautiful spectacle ... Theater staff enviable, everyone a delight to admire ... I greet especially the Lord who let me on the balconies

Wonderful place - great artists, beautiful interiors, you can feel the art. I especially recommend the ballet "Swan Lake".

Lovely, grand theater... excellent performances - consistently!

Great venue. Excellent shows. During music festival Szalone dni muzyki you can get backstage since some concerts take place right there. There is a tour also but it is during the week in the mornings only

Great atmosphere, which is spoiled by people in sweaters and sneakers. However, Opera obliges you to a certain elegance, you put on a sweater - go to a cabaret, pub ... Don't spoil the atmosphere at the Opera!

Great evening in the beautiful Opera House Teatr Wieki in Warsaw. Amazing performance of the Straszny Dwor opera of Stanislaw Moniuszko.

Cool. Sanitary regime preserved. I was at the Corsair ballet. It is sooooo good, I recommend it. The only profit from the coronavirus is an empty parking lot and no parking problems.

"Revenge of the Bat" is impressive here. The cast and the musical setting is something amazing. It can't be described here, you have to be there

Very large opera theatre and it was full on a Tuesday night. However I ordered a glass of champagne at intermission and was shocked at the price 99pln and it was warm and flat.

it's nice that parking in front of the theater is free from 6pm on friday until 6am on monday

Absolutely lovely and wide space, with beautiful deco and lighting! Great acoustic and astuning ballet performance! A must-go when travelling to Warsaw!

The best and biggest Theatre in Poland, Ballet is amazing!

Halka - Stanis awa Moniuszkiw directed by Mariusz Treli ski, I recommend it to everyone, it's really worth it.

Acoustics is great. I can hear the lyrics clearly. There were people whispering during the opera, that is irritating. The building is grand. Enjoyed the experience.
