Absolutely fantastic theme park, especially if you have children. Been going with my family since 1987. My children and now granddaughters think it's absolutely great, they never want to leave.

Amazing

Amazing
Fun for all ages and abilities
Variety of attractions. Clean park. Reasonable prices.
Still miss the 'Rattle Snake looks so sad and abandoned now.. many fond memories made at Pleasurewood Hills from childhood and now my kids are making memories too.
Lovely staff all friendly and polite
Swings weren't working when we went, but loads of other rides available.
We love the fact it's less than hour away to get to and we visit yearly.
Keep up the good work Pleasurewood Hills

Would definitely recommend. Has plenty of nice rides there like Wipeout, Fireball, Timber falls, Marble madness and Enigma. Could still do with some more thrill rides that aren't crappy dodgems or chair swings which should be classed as a family. Also don't be intimidated by hobz pit, it's not really that scary.

Good park for re-rides as you can get most rides done in 2 hours.

Tip- The pirate ship and hyper drive are not worth a ride, try the older dodgems instead. Why? The pirate ship is boring and hyper drive isn't as fun as the original dodgems

Not impressed,,? Staff not very helpful.
Tolilets we're very dirty
Not good value for money. Son waited 1hr 30mins to get on 1 ride not very well handled.
Could of ran two trains on one track Rather then having only 8 people going on at one time?
Paid for two cups of tea middle of the day they had no milk had to walk 2mins away to get some.very poor only had bit left ended up throwing them away.
Worst thing about the park bleeding wasps everywhere never seen so many.
Hazard waiting to happen specially for young children.

A great day out with a 10 and 13yo. All the ride staff were fantastic and really friendly. I would have given the last star if there had been more in-door places to eat. Great value for money.

One must book it online to visit this theme park. Booking online was easy. Large park with plenty of rides for all age groups. Variety of rides was good and we had plenty of time to enjoy all of them we liked and some of them we went repeating times too. Queues weren't that long at all perhaps due to COVID19 situations. Plenty of sanitisers are available for visitors. Food places and toilets are available too. Free on site car parking available with lots of spaces.
We had a great time and certainly I would recommend.

Short queues, even on the big rides. However, the place is pretty hidden. We were in a caravan site just around the corner and only found this place on one of the last days. More signs needed.

Terrible, 2 best rides not working and a couple of others. Food poor and price expensive. Queues too long and no apparent effort to open all. Sealion was smiling though, probably at thought of site closing and going elsewhere.

An enjoyable day out for the family with rides and entertainment for all, free sea lion and seal show, soft play area side shows. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting. Downside, not many adult rides.

Good value for money in the rides! A great day out with everything needed in the park. Staff were hit and miss, some not very accommodating but others were incredibly helpful and friendly. Ride safety was evident while we were there, a couple rides being tested while we were in the queue which was great to see. Food was lovely too! Can recommend a visit for the family!

I do like pleasurewood hills. It's lost some of its brilliance over the years. I'm always searching for things that are not there anymore. Rides are not that exciting but the staff and shows are worth going for. Take a picnic with you unless you want to pay out of your nose for food and drinks. They do have a toddler ride zone available. Please use the height chart before entering or you might be paying for rides they cannot get on. Toilets and some other areas are still living in the 80s and badly need updating.

Took my 5 year old son here. Overall we had a good day but some of the rides are really quite dated and too slow or samey. The egg rollercoaster and rumble falls was good as well as the trains and horses however the whole site makes me think of an urban exploration of an abandoned old 80s theme park. I wont be returning but it gave us a good enough day. The seal show was fantastic as was the parrot show.

Had a great day. but shutting at 5pm in, the middle of August on, a hot sunny day. Personally I don't think that's a good thing. Was at Clacton week before that opens similar time and shuts at 8pm in hi Summer. 2.60 for 500ml of pop. was also an ouch. Needs more big rides too it's got the space to grow. Hopefully it will

The park is very good with lots of rides and play areas for younger children as well as some white knuckle rides. Staff are very friendly, polite and helpful and the park is well laid out and sign posted. Sea Lion and Parrot shows on at various times during the day are really enjoyable. Very few queues even on weekends and bank holidays. My only gripe is that the food and drinks there are very expensive, but there are lots of picnic areas and tables if you bring your own. All in all a great day out.

Could be because I'm getting old but it just seems very out dated now and really could do with a major update all round!!! But 100% worth going for a fun day out!

Some new rides are here now. They still use bits on the the old map that suggests they still have a ghost train, the ghost train no longer exists. The dinosaur world no longer exists and the roller coaster rattle snake no longer exists. The pirate ship no longer goes full scare and is very numb, just like a soft swing. They have however now got a bigger, scarier rollercoaster. We had fun as a family there. There was so much for my 7 and 10 year old to do. However if you are taking some younger children there is a little toddler fair for them so they can have there own rides. You will need a few ppl with you if you have younger children, and you would like to ride the adult rides as you need someone to look after them. Some rides were broken down when we went so I wasn't that impressed with the place. If you suffer with bruising definitely avoid the minion ride. I can't even call it that really, it just hurt. The toilets are quite clean but still really old school and badly need updating. The car park needs updating. The food options are ok but very pricey, I suggest you take a picnic with you. They definitely need more lockers here. The wonder and MYSTERY has kind if disappeared a bit from here. We loved the shooting game in the dark and the parrot show. This place is very entertaining. All in all we had a great day.

Several rides were not working, but ones that were were good. Usual rubbish food sold here, overpriced chips etc so bring your own. Best suited for younger kids I think. Quite expensive to get in.

Ideal for young families, 20 minute queues,
and plenty of rides suitable for 4 -14 year olds.

Looks like Woody and co are no longer a key theme, so it feels like the park has lost its brand and identity.

Overall the park was dirty and tired. Grass areas uncared for, messy catering counters. Staff seemed not to care about the mess.

Food and drinks were very expensive, so I would recommend a picnic.(a major supermarket is only a 2 minute drive away).

Parts of the park looked abandoned and left in ruin, other rides /attractions were closed.
The whole place felt unkempt

Perhaps the addition of a hotel or caravan park might help boost sales and increase investment and put Pleasurewood Hills back on the map.

Lovely day out with the family. Park looks like it's been refreshed recently with many structures having a new coat of paint. Clean and tidy with friendly staff and a great selection of rides for the kids.

Awful day out, had to pay full price at the door for my 7 year old, only to be told at several of the rides shes too short, even though shorter children were getting off the rides. No one that worked there seemed to know what was going on or cared for that matter. Bought a yard of slush puppy for 3.50 with the promise of cheap refills, only to go around EVERY single stand just to be told there slushy isnt working or its only just been put on. Feel robbed of money and what should have been a good day out with my daughter. Honestly if you're reading this expect to feel ripped off too, this has been our worst day out of the holidays....

Lovely atmosphere. Reasonable entrance prices HOWEVER the queues at the entrance are massive over an hour. And once in, the queues are ok. But we were going to go on the log flume ride at 4.40 20 minutes before it shuts, and they said the rides are closed. Payed over 120 pounds to get told the rides are shut before the actual shutting time.

So the rides are really good especially Wipeout. However the weather is usually a bit grim unless it's summer. The food isn't great but it's edible. You only should go here if you want to go on Wipeout, if you're not going on that ride, get ready for a lame Legoland rip-off.
