This school is many things, none of them being bland, racist, or mean. There are troublesome kids in every school across the country, including this one. But they are a very small group that doesn't interact with other students much. PG is a very diverse community, and everyone is welcomed with open arms. There are plenty of successful Hispanic, African-American, Asian, and Pacific Islander students here, and there is absolutely no racism displayed by the faculty here. PG has a wide selection of AP and honors courses that have profound effects on college acceptance and being ready for college in general. The academies here are definitely very high caliber as we have very professional facilities, from 3D printers in IDEA (Innovative Design and Engineering Academy) to VR cameras in DMA (Digital Media Academy) and many more (PSA & FFA). The academies also have their own leadership groups that are chosen objectively so that they represent students of all groups and ages. The teachers here at PG are pretty much all very outgoing and sympathetic. You do have to put out the effort to make yourself stand out because of the overwhelming quantity of students who go through PG, but once you do, the teachers here will get to know you better and often times help suit the class for your needs (1 on 1 help, additional resources, etc. ) But at the end of the day, you do only get out of PG what you invest in it. If you take regular classes and don't pay attention, you are going to only get a basic education, which will get you into a basic college. But if you put in a lot of effort and take a multitude of AP classes, you get a premium education that will allow you to get into almost any college you want. Go Eagles!

This school is awful because of the teacher mrs.neil but im giving this a 2 star because i had a good time talking to my friends.

Good STEM education. There's a variety of classes and academies for people who want to learn different things (such as the innovative design and engineering academy (IDEA), biomedical academy, digital media academy, future farmers of America, etc). In my opinion, they could be a little better if they explained the value of education because some students don't care much about school. To be fair, many other schools have similar students. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this school. It's very up to date technologically and I've never had trouble with the teachers.

I'd greatly appreciate if ALL staff looked a every student unbiased and took interest in our hopes, schooling, and career choices.

A-1 quality education my son loves his school and I do too

I enjoyed my high school years here. The curriculum is intense, but I'd rather be pushed too hard than not enough. The students here are just like any other high school. Some are cool, some are not. You just have to find the cool people and you're good. I was involved in the Theatre program which is growing more and more. I made a lot of connections with people and met inspiring teachers. This is a good school. You get out what you put in.

So this girl named Desirae Fernandez has said some very racist stuff about how much she hates black people and how she enjoys seeing the cops kill black people I think this is so sick and you should take control of this stuff. I hope the other students at this school don't act this way because it is very inappropriate for her to act this way. Me myself felt very hurt and on the video Desirae was laughing at what she was saying like it was a joke but she offended a lot of people and she should be punished really hard.

This is the worst school to attend. If you want your kids to get into drugs early well welcome to Pleasant Grove High school make yourself at home. Honestly, teachers don't have patience, those with special needs will be treated unfair, the respect level is deteriorating. We are the future and what they do to us now is going to effect us later.

I loved this school the staff and students are so awesome there. They are one of the best schools in the nation.
