A well-known, 2 level performing arts theater in the heart of Midtown. The main reason they stand out from the rest is their consistently affordable ticket prices and work with the city's youth. I've been coming here and seeing different shows throughout my whole life and I'm pleased it has remained true to it's nature. Acting can be quite uplifting and influential. This venue has become come a staple in Memphis.

I actually went to a birthday party here. It was a pleasure to be at this fabulous, spacious, cozy if you like to give a occasion. Clean, nice, and comfortable. I would be more than happy to have whatever here. The parking was great too. Truly enjoyed myself

Went and met with a young lady about renting out the venue for my wedding. After the meeting she promised to email more info about pricing, availability, etc. After I emailed her three separate times there still was no word. Almost as if she is ignoring me or doesn't want my business. Really hurt my feelings mainly because the location would be perfect for my wedding. I won't disclose her name but I'm pretty sure it's only one lady over event rentals.

My wife and I took our two granddaughters and a neighbor to see Matilda, and for the most part ,we really enjoyed it. The actors were great, the singing was really good, but the dialogue was really hard to understand because it's being delivered in too heavy of an accent to reflect the original story. We Americans from Tennessee have a hard time picking up on the lines delivered in that manner. The highlight of the show for us is when the young man(Steele) who plays Bruce belts out the song at the end of the production! Now there is a talent! All in all, great show at a superb facility!

The director that runs the banquet hall is very rude, very nasty with comments like " is this wedding over yet", the floors where not cleaned or swept. There was trash on the floors. She was pushy and unprofessional. Made us feel like we where not welcome.

Saw Kinky Boots and it was fantastic! Oh my goodness the actors were so great, the singing was incredible, the emotional delivery was compelling and I thoroughly enjoyed it. First time to the theater and was really impressed. Bought season tickets! Need I say more?

Love this place. Be it on the stage of in the audience. It's become.a.Memphis staple. If you haven't seen a play here ANY play you haven't quite experience the plethora of RAW talent this city is filled with.

The playhouse was great, as was the performance I attended. My only concern was that I was not allowed to check messages on my phone during the performance, even though I needed to be able to check since I left my baby at home. Later I walked to the hallway to check my phone and while waiting for an interlude to open the doors to come back in, I missed 1/3 of the play.
