I would give 10 stars if I could! The young lady at the host station was friendly, helpful and courteous. Our server, Louis, was the same plus funny. He made sure to remember my husband's name so he could sing Happy Birthday at dessert. I had the coconut rum cake which was outstanding. Dinners were crab cakes and shrimp n grits. Both were delicious. Even my decaf coffee was great! That doesn't often happen. We were visiting from the Tampa area but if we lived here, Playa would be a frequent stop for us!

Great location. Great service. Patio seating very comfortable and not crowded. Enjoyed our meal. Would also be a nice place for a late afternoon drink and appetizer

I ve heard this place is under new ownership. If I could have talked to the owner tonight I would have. The hostess was the rudest little brat I have ever encountered. Maybe 16? Never once looked up to talk to me. The place was almost empty with a 2 hour wait. The marina is gone. Zero ambiance. Tiki Hut closed. This place is doomed unless ownership figures out that they need to get rid of reservations and serve the customers that are present with a smile and some appreciation. Good luck. I truly I hope you can overcome these challenging times.

Birthday dinner on vaca and I was very happy! Beautiful decor, right on the water, great food, great staff!

My daughter and I loved this quaint place! It was like a step back in time. The hostess and our server were both adorable and attentive. The fish tacos were fresh and excellent. My daughter ordered the Cuban and it didn't disappoint. I had an "Endless Summer" cocktail that tasted fresh and well, summery. We couldn't sit on the patio due to the rain but our view was still great, watching the boats come I out out. We highly recommend a relaxing lunch here away from the tourist traps where more thought was put into the food. We are planning on visiting this restaurant every time we go to Orange Beach.

Playa restaurant is one of my favorite places to visit for a nice meal. We come here frequently and really enjoy the over the top service that we receive every time we stop by to eat. My husband says the food is fresh and cooked just the way he likes it and they always get his order correct and the way he likes it. Amazing service and staff !! We will be back soon.

Party of 3 for late afternoon drinks and appetizers. Baked Crab Dip & Chips, Margaritas, and a Beachwhacker! Yum! Beautifully decorated, spacious, and sparkling clean! Fantastic service with a smile!

Always a beach favorite. I love that they take reservations and operate efficiently. Service is always good and you can feel safe about taking a group of friends and have a pleasurable experience. While I go for seafood, particularly the jerk shrimp tacos or red fish, but the steak lover can be completely satisfied with their filet.

Such a great experience! Our food was taking quite a while, which we didn t even mind because our group was having a good time anyway. Server came and apologized there was a mixup in the kitchen and immediately brought us a free round of drinks. Then the manager came with chips/guacamole and apologies. Again, we were not even bothered but the fact that they were so gracious with the wait without even any complaints just made the entire experience over the top GREAT! Food was perfect, service impeccable and the ambiance was beautiful.
We are Pensacola locals so we will absolutely be back!
