I've been twice. Good food both times. Service slightly above average. Popular spot so there can be a wait and seating might be less than ideal.

Good pizza, closer to a 4.5 or 4.25; flavours / toppings / sauce left me wanting a little bit more but the crust was really well done for the style (thin, crispy with a bit of chew). Nice, friendly service.
Love this place. Reliable delicious and creative pizza. My fave are the meatballs and the pesto pizza. I m only giving 4 stars because they charge for things like extra sauce on the meatballs and I like to add mushrooms to the pizza but they re $6! (They are fancy and yummy mushrooms tho). Also the drinks are small and expensive. However it s always yummy and I m never disappointed.
Meatballs are awesome. The pizzas are also good. They have fun happy hours.
Great little place. Amazing interior decor. The pizzas are good sized 10". Flavorful and wood fire burnt.
Good customer service and a good collection of Wines on the menu.
Will be back again for more :)
I have been visiting this place on and off for a few years now. I must say there has been a slow decline in quality. Service so seems to be on the same plane as well. Having said that, they are definitely one of the better choices in the neighbourhood and I sure hope they can turn around their bus and start climbing that hill.
Good Pizza and atmosphere! The Kale Ceaser Salad is a must try.
Fresh tasty pizza but the noise levels and particularly our server made the visit ( Kerrisdale location) memorable for all the wrong reasons. Our impression was that we were keeping him from doing something more stimulating than taking our order. Having a bad day?? Not my problem, but maybe the owner would care.
The dough is good, but the toppings are excellent. Great sauces and meats all around, especially the homemade chorizo. The pizzas are big enough to share and good enough to not want to.
I thought the pizza was better than average, but wasn't a huge fan of the types they offered. Would have also liked more options for standard pizzas.
Holy smokes this pizza deserves over a 5 star rating. Great little place with high quality ingredients and interesting yet classic pizzas. We got the carbonara pizza (pictured below) and we can truly say it is one of our favorite pizzas of all time. A must get if in the neighborhood!
The Arugala Salad was really good and the sausage pizza was our favourite. We tried the lemonade which one review had mentioned was really good but we found it dissapointing. Friendly staff and nice setting, although the cusions in the booths could use replacement as they didn't provide the best padding. All in all a good place for pizza.
Over priced for a pizza equal to fresh slice . Super friendly staff tho
Excellent pizzas and salads, sometimes unusual but very tasty ingredients. Pizza crust extremely well done, pizzas not at all greasy. Friendly efficient wait staff. Tables are close together and conversation can require raised voices. Moderately expensive.
Friendly modern neighbourhood place with delicious pizza, salads, and appetizers. Great blistered crust and flavoured oils, . I am fond of funghi pizza and the kale salad with soft egg. Good beer on tap, great servers.
My wife and I walked in and were seated amongst 2 dozen loud and squealing adolescents who were funded by parents who had no interest in supervising their children. We were regulars but no more for us.
We will never go back. My wife ordered a beverage and then we complained about the unsupervised crowd of adolescents and they said they said we can t do anything about it....hmmmm this is a licensed restaurant and they have minors dominating the place.....hmmm sounds a bit unusal,
We will never return

Pizza and drinks where great but our server was a bit rude
Nice cozy little place. The pizza is delicious. The staff is friendly. The beer list, while minimal, is well put together. I'll be back.
Possibly the best pizza in Vancouver. Atmosphere is great you can watch the chefs make your pizza while sitting at the bar. They also take reservations and we're very accommodating for a birthday. They also make great non-alcoholic drinks and their desserts are good too.
Delicious pizza. Came here during the dine out event. They had a great menu with decent portions. Would definitely come back
Very noisy
Pizza is not bad but not really authentic Italian
It seem like a group of hipsters got together and thought they would open an authentic italian restaurant but really should have opened a coffee shop.
Amazing food, great staff, and one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time!
A bit pricey but delicious! Great pizzas and salads, from the ordinary to the much more interesting. Of the pizzas we had, we most liked those beyond the basics. None were bad but the standards were less memorable than the innovative combinations. We will return for sure ideally without our kids.
Expensive but good pizza. Got the Finocchiona for lunch. Service was great. And the pizza was big enough for two people.
Food was fabulous, service was ok. We were there for a birthday party with a set menu. And we took our two year old who literally did not eat or drink anything while we were there, and were charged 30 dollars for him sitting there and watching youtube videos. The party began at 8 pm and our child had already had dinner, if we had known that we probably would not have gone as we did not have a sitter and weren't expecting to pay 30 dollars ontop of an 18.5 percent gratuity for nothing.
Great Pizza! Crust is very thin and the pizza dough is crispy and has a chew. You'll have an opportunity to order some artisan pizzas which you won't find in other chain pizza joints. I found that some of the toppings on the pizza were a little...skimpy. If you're looking to get stuffed, you'll have to order a few different things. But if you're looking for an upscale pizza spot, this is it. Price is quite reasonable and staff here are friendly.
* IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN, there is only 1 high chair. They have booster seats, but only 1 high chair (last visited June 24) *
Great local place for thin crust pizza. Great flavors and taste. Their salads and homemade meatballs are yummy too.
The pizza I had was verry delicious. Also free carbonised water.
Great pizza! Super crispy thin crust, fresh ingredients. Can't believe I haven't been here before, will definitely be back!
Excellent pizza. Great service. Reasonable prices. And try the smoked olives!
It's just delicious pizza, thin and crispy, great ingredients, what more do you need.
Friendly staff, exciting atmosphere and good food. A little loud at times and a typical north American restaurant so you do need to flag staff if you need anything.
If you like thin crust pizzas, then do visit Bufala. Pizza is baked right in front of you. Good service.
Pizzas are extremely expensive and not very good tasting. For the price it should come with more toppings, a salad and a soup, but there are none of those. Very overpriced for what it is. Had to eat somewhere else because I was still hungry after spending 30 dollars here.
Sparkling water is pretty good though. Imagine going to a restaurant and the best part is the water lmaoo.
Best pizza in Vancouver? I think so. Each slice is a heavenly journey from the center to the crust. Oh, and the flavored oils are a really lovely touch.
Nothing special the salad was a joke, too small for the amount of money it costs. The pizza is tasty but they are way too stingy on the toppings and the pizza is so thin. The pizza is worth maybe $10. Do not recommend!!!
Very friendly staff. The pizza is very authentic and tasty. The pizza bread is perfect Their pizza oils are also to die for!!
Hard to get in, but that's because it's one of the few good family restaurants in the area offering a somewhat more sophisticated menu of wines, salads, and authentic pizzas.
I just moved into the neighborhood and decided to check it out with a friend. I have to say that the pizza here is highly overpriced for what you get. It seemed like all we were eating was the crust (very few toppings and flavour). The customer service isn't the best either. I wont be going back here.
It's a good neighbourhood place. The pizza is NOT authentic Neapolitan pizza, but they try very hard. It's not in the Marcello's or Lombardo's or Nicli class but it's still quite good. Even Trilussa's Roman pie is better. Service is ALWAYS hit and miss and they are a little on the pricey side for what you're getting.
Amazing pizza! Great service! Looking forward to coming back.
Can't believe anyone complained about the pizza. Simple, rustic, other words Gordon Ramsay uses.
Best Neapolitan pizza I've found in the city. I alternate Bufala with other places to try and find a better one but so far, after a few years of doing this, Bufala is definitely still on top.
Hand made dough in the morning, ezcellent ingredients and choices. On the pricier side but absolutely worth the quality. Exquisite pizza
The desserts were scrumptious, we had the feature, and a salted caramel pudding. Kept it simple with a margarita pizza, fresh tomato and a thin crust made my favourite in the city!
Very good pizzeria with well-researched flavors like fennel sausage. You can go there with your eyes closed and the taste buds wide open. The reception and very friendly and the waitress who speaks a few words of French welcomed us particularly well.
First visit left us with good impression. The place was clean and the staff was friendly and didn t rush us. The Fungi pizza was very tasty and the water we asked for was served from bottle at our table and didn t taste or smell like tap water laced with chlorine. Will definitely come back to try their other dishes.
Mmmm, wasn't impressed. Kids drinks didn't come, mom and dads food arrived before the kids pizza. We wanted a half and half pizza and would pay the higher price of the two pizzas. Well we paid alright, for extra toppings? Half and half people, I don't see anything extra. So that was my experience.
Came here for lunch as it was recommended by a friend. Had excellent service and a delicious pizza.
We tried out the dine out menu for $35 each. I liked it, the dineout menu includes salad, pizza and desert. Salad was very good, pizza was pretty good and desert was ok. The service was good.
Been there a couple times. Good food. Always worth waiting
I love this place. Everything, including the drinks, are made with high quality, fresh ingredients. They have great cocktails. It gets really busy in the evenings, so make a reservation. I recommend the pesto and ricatta with prosciutto pizza.
I ordered the Calabria pizza to go, and I had someone else's pepperoni pizza and I really liked both. Maybe not worth $20 for a thin crust pizza that a lone hungry man could finish on his own
Best pizza this side of town. The dough is made feom scratch using bread flour giving it a light crispy texture. The flavours are fresh and not overly complex.
The kale Caesar is tasty although can be more sour than I'd like. Personal favorite is the funghi pizza.
The pizzas come in one size only, personal size pizza lets you try multie pizza so best come as a group for the best expetience.
A strong participant in the Vancouver Neapolitan pizza scene. A striking sauce and airy crust. Hope to return.
Awesomeness! Fantastic pizza and desserts. I would recommend this place for a first date, your new friend will be impressed. I remember it being a bit noisy but I'd go back in heart beat. Yummm!
Went for dineout and very much enjoyed it.
Have to get there a bit earlier as they sold out of a couple of the appetizers, but the kale Caesar and veal were good. Would have enjoyed the breadsticks with the veal as there is some cream that may have gone well with it. We ordered the meatballs which were tasty.
We had the bacon & Brussels and the fennel sausage pizzas. Love the dough and crust, and they provide you three different oils for your pizza to use if you like (spicy, olive, and parmesan flavoured). The fennel sausage pizza was a great combination with the caramelized onions. I'm not a fan of Brussels so I do find it detracts from the taste (was the wife's choice).
They give you one cannoli each for dessert. Nice little way to end the meal.
Absolutely phenomenal food & staff. Would definitely recommend/go again!
Really great pizza, the dough was probably the best I ever ate
Tasty and expensive pizza. Slow service (our two pizzas took around 40 minutes to be served). Weird washroom decoration.. lol
Excellent spot for pizza! Thin, crisp yet chewy crust baked to perfection with top quality sauce & cheeses. Traditional Italian flavours on offer. Casual, comfortable yet modern atmosphere. Great wine & cocktail menu as well.
