Pizza La Foca Nicanora Review

Mythical pizzeria in Bilbao. My favorite without a doubt. Some nachos with cheese that you have to try by obligation and that spicy sauce that accompanies them. In short, a classic that you cannot miss if you are in Bilbao. You have to go soon because otherwise you usually have to wait.

A very quiet place, close to the Guggenheim museum. There is an extensive menu of pizzas and the very friendly staff advises you on the size of the pizzas and how to make yours to your liking.

It has been a while since I went and the quality of the pizzas has dropped a lot. It is reduced to a mass full of tranchete type cheese with the rest of the ingredients. Very sweet and heavy. It's a shame because it was a great pizzeria. It has been spoiled.

Not what I remembered it to be. Pizza's were soggy and definitely overpriced for what we had to eat, which we couldn't finish. The nachos were a speciality long ago and now it's not even a shadow of what it used to be.

I was the other day with a friend and our dogs. We had dinner on the terrace with them and without problems. The spectacular pizzas are made at the moment with their homemade dough butooooooooo suddenly you ask for the dessert menu and everything is "precooked", that is to say suddenly you happen to be seeing a letter from a beach bar all ice cream there is nothing homemade or cakes. ... very bad and takes away the quality of the above. For me it was a mistake and we got cold so we didn't have anything for dessert.
We will return but without dessert.

Classic of Bilbao, habitual among young people. Creamy pizzas and beer. You can also ask to take or ship home.

The pizzas are not good. In the local they say they are different because they are American. But I have eaten them in other places and this mass seems bought made. I would not go back even if I lived in the area. I know where I will not go when I return to Bilbao.
