Stopped for a convention but was not staying overnight. The hotel is very nice and we had a lot of room for everyone. The bar/restaurant had great prices, good craft beers on tap and the food was really good.

My fiance and I visited to book a block of rooms for our wedding. The rate was excellent and despite the last minute nature of our booking, they accommodated us with not a sing problem. The sales team is gracious and followed up exactly when they said they would. The bar/restaurant area looked very clean and comfortable. I could see myself enjoying cocktails at the bar. We're looking forward to our stay!
I was only in lobby and conference room. These areas were very clean. The conference room was a little chilly. The buffet lunch supplied by the hotel was excellent.
It was very well staffed and maintained. I was only there for a few hours for a wedding reception, but it was definitely perfect for it. Would recommend!
Nice hotel and staff. Good amenities. The hotel was nice and had most of the things you could want, including room service. The rooms are up to date with nice finishes. Rooms are lacking items like a small refrigerator, but I believe these can be provided upon request. There's a small Starbucks down in the lobby and a hotel restaurant that is decent, but not spectacular. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.
Excellent pace to stay in North Pittsburgh. This is a top class facility and the newly remodeled room was excellent. Comfortable and quiet room with a great staff.
We ate at the onsite restaurant and it had to be the WORST MEAL EVER! Took almost an hour to get our food - way overpriced for the quality. Trust me... Don't eat at the restaurant in this Marriott.
I visited the Cranberry Marriott for a work gathering; cannot give a review as an overnight guest. However, it was a very efficient place to meet with my colleagues. It was calm and quiet, there was plenty of seating surrounded by beautiful plants, and a Starbucks and restaurant within the lobby area. Would love to come back as an overnight guest someday!
Attended a large formal event and was served this as the vegetarian option for dinner. (A large plate of penne with very little sauce and no vegetables what so ever) The omnivorous meal had more vegetables than the vegetarian dish. We were not overly impressed , someone at the table actually laughed out loud when the waiter placed this in front of me. We only saw the waitstaff when they were dropping off something, they didn t make rounds to take drink orders/ etc. The overall atmosphere was your typical hotel ballroom, the lobby area has a nice water feature and is large to allow for bigger groups.
Amazing customer service. We got a room with a king bed but needed 2 beds instead. They apologized and changed us without a problem and even gave us free buffet passes. They were really thoughtful that even gave us a welcome bag. The food at restaurant was really good too
We stayed here for a wedding. Sandy who works in housekeeping was very good to us! We had a lot to bring in and she was a huge help and a very friendly woman. Was pretty upset the bar closed at 1230 when it was a full bar though.
Stayed here for a wedding. Room was up to date and nice for a short stay. Bed was extremely comfy and sheets were soft. Bar area was nice for relaxing after the long night.
Attended a social event. Mostly used only their space as food was catered from outside. Liked the ambience and facilities. Definitely a good place to organize event. Not sure of the cost though.
Great hotel for the area with a very friendly and obliging staff. Clean, recently redecorated, and great meeting rooms. Spacious and inviting lobby. I ve had to edit since my original review. The remodeling has been a disappointment because things are already falling apart. The M Club which was to be open all weekend is only there for water or coffee. During the rest of the week, the Concierge for evening goodies is excellent and top notch. Bad move to place this on first floor. It s inconvenient.
Room service staff during the evenings are great, but staff for earlier in the day is sub par. Very disappointing.
Pretty average hotel for the cost. No jacuzzi, expensive Internet. Looks like the last time it was remodeled was the 90s. Service/parking/lobby was great but that's about it.
This was the first time at the Marriott in Cranberry Twp. Have stayed at the other Marriott brands on previous trips. Check in experience was great speaking with Sam. Provided some extras as a reward member which was very nice. I find few of the hotels recognize you as a reward member so when they do it is noticable. We were placed in a renovated room which was spacious and nice. I found it is hit and miss with the main brand on the size of rooms. This worked out very well for our family. Would definitely return to the hotel in the future based on this visit.
Had a business meeting in the lobby, so I can't speak to the rooms, but the lobby area was very nice and there were plenty of areas to gather. Everything looked clean and comfortable.
In my 7 years of frequent travel (work and leisure), staying at Marriott properties for the majority of my travel, this was honestly the strangest Marriott experience I've had.
The check-in stood out as the worst. The man who attended to me gave me a blank, slightly surprised, stare the entire time, which made me feel incredibly awkward. He presented me with my room cards and then just stared, providing no information about the property. I then had to ask him EVERY question for the usual info that reception provides during check-in, including the time when breakfast was served (he didn't even tell me when breakfast ended while responding to this question, which in hindsight I should've followed up with), if there was a fitness centre, if there was a concierge lounge, etc. He would just give me short answers with no elaboration, and didn't seem to catch on with my questions that I was lacking all the usual check-in info. I have Titanium status and almost all properties will automatically know if there was an upgrade available for me, but I also had to ask him this. The strange thing was the manager (or I assume she was the manager) was standing behind him for most of this and didn't seem to think this was not an appropriate way to provide service. He also incorrectly gave me instructions to the concierge lounge, telling me all I needed was my key card to access, but when I went to it there was a sign telling guests that a passcode was needed that you would need to get from reception.
The rest of the stay didn't get any better. I stayed for 2 nights and missed the concierge lounge breakfast because I was never told when it ended (and I assumed it ended at the usual 10am that most Marriotts have), but the lounge was empty when I got there. The second morning the concierge lounge was closed "for service" so again there was no member's breakfast (and I never once saw staff in the lounge whenever I passed by it). When passing by staff in the hallways in the morning, I'd smile and wish them a good morning, only to be met with silence. The room I received had a strange scent that did not disappear, and the fridge had been unplugged which I had to plug back in.
Very strange stay. If I ever have to return to the PIttsburgh area, I will definitely not stay at this property.
The Marriott has the absolute best beds! The hotel was sold out the first night I arrived and since I arrived late I got the worst room. Management was very understanding of my frustrations and worked diligently to rectify the situation. Excellent customer service is what I expect from Marriott and they have yet to disappoint. I am very pleased.
The location of this hotel is great, given how close it is to many Cranberry restaurants. It is also right down the road from I-79 for convenient travel in and out of the area. The brunch was pretty good. This hotel is a great overall hotel and one of the first/main ones 228 on the northern side of Cranberry.
The property was very well kept. The amenities were as accurate as listed. The staff was very courteous and friendly even the upper level management was energetic and accommodating.
Hotel is very nice. The lobby, bar, and public places are wonderful. Our room was a little "not up to date". The mattress was terrible, even though we asked for a new one, the new one was not up to par. The water in the bathroom had a bad smell, the air was dry.
I was here on a business trip to give a couple of presentations nearby. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Mobile Check in probably helped me have a room even at 10am. The room was cozy and clean, and no excessive noises. The hotel restaurant had good food and excellent service. Uber was easy to catch in the area. The only downside was that walking to restaurants and stores in the area was not the easiest but still manageable.
Came for my brothers wedding and it was beautiful. Every aspect was perfectly executed and all of the guests had a wonderful time. We stayed the night and the room was clean and comfortable and stylish. Would stay again
Location is right off of I-79 conveniently across the street from Westinghouse HQ. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. TV allows you to login to many of the popular streaming media apps. Plus, there is a Starbucks in the lobby!
My husband and I took an impromptu trip here when we found a Groupon deal for a night and breakfast. The room was clean, bed was comfy and staff was friendly. It was about a 30 min drive from the downtown area. Breakfast buffet was nice! Bacon always elevates an experience. Overall a great stay for a great price.
Attended a work Christmas party there and the experience was sub par. The Appetizers were great but the diner was not good at all. Service was ok but pushy to kick us out. Probably won't go if the party is there next year.
Good brunch. Lots of choices for brunch items, eggs, fruit, breakfast meats and omelet station. Can get crowded on holidays and your experience might not be so good. Reasonability priced clean, good appearance, easy parking.
I travel for work and normally have to spend few nights every month in a Hotel.being an elite member with Mariott I booked Marriott Cranberry for my business travel for 2 nights. It's an old well maintained Hotel but they should concentrate on renovating their rooms.I stayed in Room 312 which it seems the room had a million year old bed which kept on squeaking and creaking whole night, during whole night I was afraid to take any turns and make any movement on the bed which kept me awake whole night. Finally around 3 AM I picked up the extra blanket from closed and tried sleeping on the couch. From house keeping perspective they didn't even bother to fold the blanket next day and just left the same on the couch as is.I am really disappointed with the service and quality of the hotel.
Cut my trip short for poor services. Internet access costs 10/night and wasn't sufficient to skype. 50% of the time it wouldn't allow me to even surf the internet. Staff and Location were both fantastic.
