Second largest opera company in NC. Provides incredibly high quality performances at affordable rates. One of the many gems in winston. If traveling it's a good date night or a treat to yourself.
Great regional opera company, especially one with so small a budget. The singing from principals and chorus are always first rate, and the playing of members of the Winston-Salem Symphony in the pit is always excellent. Maestro and General Manager Jamie Albritten is awesome and Piedmont Opera and this area are blessed to have him!!!
The experience was great, so much talent and beautiful scenery.
