Absolutely grand. Definitely recommend.
I make a point to visit a botanical garden wherever I travel and this one is, by far, my favorite. This place is stunning and definitely worth a visit while in Pittsburgh! A fairly large place to get through so I would plan 2 hours for the self guided tour. Tickets are limited due to covid and special events, reserve tickets prior to arriving!
And if you are trying to find a suitable souvenir to take back home with you, they have an excellent gift shop

Sad to have missed the corpse flower blooming. There are not many botanical gardens that have a corpse flower in their care.

Phipps is a lovely conservatory. We went during the Trolls exhibit and the kids had fun trying to find all the trolls and playing with the interactive exhibits.
My favorite area is the Japanese Garden but every area is lovingly cared for and beautiful.
We went on a hot day and we were able to take a break in the outdoor kid's area which has a little water feature they can splash their toes in.

Beautiful Flowers, plants and integrated art sculptures. Well designed and engaging. Troll hunt and model trains for the kids. Pleasant and helpful staff.

An absolutely amazing conservatory that is so well maintained, themed, and simply beautiful! They change the themes every few months so definitely worth revisiting.

Great place to visit. Would come here again as they do change out some of their rooms. Will say its humid and very warm in some places, so be aware. Great outdoor gardens, as well.

I could have spent all day here! There's so much to see and each room had me mesmerized. I enjoyed reading the names of our favorite plants and the up close view of some I had never seen before! I took so many pictures but they don't do any justice. Overall this place is a Must See!! 10/10 recommend

I CAN NOT WAIT TO GO BACK! Mind you since I'm practically allergic to everything I doubled down on all my meds! It was so worth it! I want to see it in the spring and the fall... maybe even Christmas!

I absolutely love coming to the botanical gardens in Pittsburgh! There was a new exhibit for the Trolls and Halloween, which was super cute to see! The new train diorama isn't completely done yet, but it's already shaping up to be something exciting to come back for!

What an amazing place! It is so peaceful! There were so many flowers that I'd never seen/heard of! Well worth the admission price!

The very Best thing to do in Pittsburgh ! Oh I have loved Phipps since I was a little girl. Your rooms have inspired my garden and my heart. I have been lucky enough to I have visited many times. If you have not gone try the winter display it is a magical time. If you have a chance to go more than once pick a season that you find enchanting and you will find your heart's desire here.
