Phil's Pizzeria and Restaurant Review

Some friends had taken my mom to this place and she brought some leftovers which was very good. The lemon chicken was a bit too salty but the veggies were great. So I decided to try the pizza. I ordered online and drove out of my way to pick it up. THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD AT A PIZZA PLACE. I saw the menu the restaurant gives out and some of the prices are different online. Fine. So 1st of all, I don't eat pepperoni I could not find the broccoli/spinach pinwheel online so I put in the notes that I did not want pepperoni which was being charged at $3.50. My mother wanted a slice of pizza so he charged me $3.00 for it. (It's $2.75 in the menu.)
I asked if I could change the pinwheel to the broccoli because I don't eat pepperoni and it wasn't on the online menu. The skinny guy behind the counter told me it is and he just looked at it. I told him it was not there. That's why I put in the note. He wanted to argue about it. I guess he got very upset over this or maybe it was because my skin is darker than his. IDK. Later he had the nerve to call me Sir when he knew damn well that I am a woman.
Anyway, the broccoli pinwheel cost $4. I didn't know that and he didn't tell me so I thought I was paying twice for one pinwheel. I thought he owed me for the pinwheel he told me I owed him $.50 when what I really owed him was $.25. But after all that mess, insult, and confusion I shouldn't have paid anything! But I'll tell you this. I won't be back and neither will anyone that know.
Lost my appetite after that ordeal.

The pizza was ok tasting but the pizza around my way is much better. I'm sure this guy went out of his way to find the smallest pizza and sicilian slices he could. It was smaller than my hand.
I will give credit (2*) to whoever cooked the spinach. It was very good.
Also, I asked for red pepper flakes and extra sauce on the side, which I did not receive. Not even napkins.

Always great food. Definitely enough for two days. Order out or dine in. George and Frankie are the owners and will make sure your food comes out perfectly. Staff is pleasant and will ensure you have everything you need to enjoy your meal. Been a fan for over 20 years.

Love this place!!! Excellent food. Requested Veal Romano which is often a special and the chef made my selection. The service was perfect. We travel a bit to enjoy this restaurant, but always find it well worth the trip!!!

We had the best time!! What exceptional service and food. Our waiter, Fab, took GREAT care of us, made perfect recommendations, and Fab was SO sweet with our little son!! Thanks so much for the great food! We will be back to Phil s to see our favorite waiter, Fab, very soon!! Yum!!

Phil's is the best restaurant in the area. What a great place to meet family for a pleasant night out. I love the food and the waitress was friendly and helpful.

The 2 owners ( Sal & Tony), which are brothers, are awesome. They always treat you like family. Oh...and by the way....pizza and food are amazing too.

Terrible food, but large portions. The food went south when the Chinavirus started. It seems the chef left and the dish washers are doing the cooking. Even the bread is not the same quality. I'm been eating there this past year ordering different dishes and not good. However, the pizza is still good.

We're in town for my father's funeral and I'm from NY originally, now live in GA. I told my wife and son about how great NY pizza is and last time we were in town, we tried another place that disappointed. Phil's Pizzeria did not. It was fantastic. The service was great. The food took me back to my childhood of amazing pizza. Next time we visit, we'll be coming to Phil's again.

Nothing bad to say about Phil's. The food is always amazing and the service is excellent! Never have a bad meal here! They always make you feel at home and our server Kayla is the best!
