Never had a issue here, all classes on time. Staff is friendly and place seems clean all the time. Some classes did get canceled or instructor didn t show up for lack of participation however that was fixed.
Child care is my problem. They won t open u til exactly the tome posted making you late to classes. They are rude to some children telling them to move out the way or go away because they are cleaning an hour after they opened. Seriously? Clean up should be after all kids have left isn t that what they get paid for? Child care staff don t care for any of the kids that stay in there for however long it needs to be. Child care staff should be trained properly.

The location is new, spacious with top quality amenities. The staff is helpful and visible. No complaints!

My family and I enjoy the YMCA. My family utilizes the facilities almost daily. We take advantage of the swimming, H2O Pump, Gear Cycle, and the swim lessons for children-The front desk staff goes out of their way to be helpful and the Aqustics Director does too. The Gear Cycle instructor and the H2O Pump instructors put their heart and soul into their classes. My children love their swim instructor and have become better swimmers than their parents with regard to stroke proficiency. I have recommended the YMCA Petersburg to several people in Prince George . Keep up the good work!

I have been going to the Petersburg Family YMCA for a week and love it. I feel comfortable, which is saying a lot. James, who works at the YMCA, set me up with ActivTrax and helped me get started. Everyone there has been very helpful and friendly. I can't say enough great about them.

I love the classes and the family vibe I get from the staff! I also love how well everything is spaced apart and the Covid safety procedures that are put into place! Also, I love being able to bring my teenager and knowing she s safe while I workout!

Bigger & Better with the same great soul! Still the best fitness center I have ever been to. Certainly no shortage of cardio, cable or free weight equipment. The newest and best training accessories everywhere. Many class options, basketball courts, swimming pool and expert trainers also available. Very reasonable pricing.

The renovations have brought the Y up to speed and it looks amazing. The new children s watch center is amazing and placed directly in the front so you can always peek in. Overall it s really nice for a small-medium sized YMCA. Just to knit pick they could use a complete new set of dumbbells and kettlebells as the current ones are worn, still usable but with the new equipment it would be nice

I love it there! It's always clean and never packed!
