Good shop for equipment. Clothing, so, so. Expensive shop, but what isn't in this area. Very crowded! Needs to expand and have more room. Clean it up so it's not so hard to find things.

It's a great store. We go there every time we are in Palm Springs we are all from Redding, Weed and Sacramento love this store .

They have everything Tennis, Golf & Pickleball. Thanx to DJ Sippel, I was guided to the best shoes for pickleball.DJ knows his stuff! We'll be back!

Took $25 gift cert a buddy gave me with his name on it as he couldn't get to the store before leaving. They would not honor it! Said he had to be there. Guess I won't be back. I come to PD six times a year and always shopped there. Thanks Pete you lost.

Huge selection of tennis and golf equipment and clothing. Though they do have more golf clothing than tennis. They have the largest selection of tennis shoes around. Deals can be had here you just need to look.

I got tennis shorts and shoes and prices were good. Plus staff was great. They have good selection. I like the store it was well organized.

Confronted twice about what I was looking for and what I needed to buy. the second time I was confronted I went ahead and indulge them on what I was looking for. I had two clubs of my own in my hand that I was looking to replace. But wanted to browse around a bit before I made a decision or asked any questions. After approximately 5 minutes within the store I was told no at least four times. In addition the staff and I had a disagreement on the degrees of a pitching wedge. I for one have never heard of a pitching wedge at 37 degrees. I was informed that the project x shaft that was on on the club I brought in, they did not have. Which was strange because I did not mention a shaft at all. Overall customer service was very poor and felt unwelcome. I will never go back or refer this establishment to anyone. Unfortunately for them I was actually considering a full set of clubs.

Unfortunately did not have a great experience here. Service was disorganized. We sent all the info on the clubs we were looking for the day before and assumed they would have the clubs ready for us to look at when we arrived the next day. My husband and I were both ordering new golf clubs. Nothing was ready for us. My husband ended up finding some of his clubs on his own. I only wanted certain clubs and they had to be special ordered. Was going to take at least 7 days. Ended up cancelling my order. Went to another golf store and was able to get all of the clubs i was looking for - they willing broke up an iron set - Pete Carlson's would not. They also matched the price.
We will likely order our golf items online now as the service you get now in stores is below average.

Had a really bad experience at pga super store down the street,came here and found that customer service is still alive.purchased new set of irons ,days later came back not knowing the owner was helping me.fantastic person won t go anywhere else.

You can't argue that you wont find something for tennis or golf at this shop... a to z in either sport? Youll find it here.... but bring your fat wallet cause it is going to regurgitate alot of green for your green strolls and putts.....

Everything overpriced. You can find everything for your golf much cheaper on Amazon. I saw that Mexican hair cutter from San Diego now involved in golf! How funny!

Beware pricing on basic tennis supplies. I just purchased multiple sets of high performance tennis string online, but because of confusing logistics around my daughter's college tennis schedule, I had to buy 2 sets at Pete Carlson's. Total cost online (2 sets): $40.00. I actually paid $33.00 per set since I bought several sets. Total cost at Pete Carlson's: $59.00. I called to ask if I had been charged the "installed" price (including labor to string the racquet, which was not my situation) and was told a manager would call me back to clarify. No phone call, lesson learned.

They took my temp n made me wash my hands also while tring on gloves lady told me if i dont them they had to put them off to the side. Then while tring on shoes was asked to use a pair of there socks...Never going back there. Telling all my golfing friends...

Staff is very helpful and friendly. They have a great selection and prices are competitive! Got my girlfriend her first set of clubs here and got all my clubs re-gripped. Definitely would say go here and support this local business over any online competition!

Very knowledgeable, professional staff. Some who are golf instructors. They take the time to explain things, for me that was several putting techniques. It's a huge selection along with a personal experience that you don't get at the big box stores.

Great service today in the shoe department and the shoes were on sale. I will definitely recommend this store in the future.
