1) High Carbon Silicomanganese (HCSiMn): This alloy contains 60-70% Mn, 14-16% Si, 2-3% C, and small amounts of P,S,and other elements. HCSiMn is mainly used for producing low-alloy steels with good wear resistance such as rail tracks.
2) Medium Carbon Silicomanganese (MCSiMn): This alloy contains 65-70%Mn ,14 -16 %Si ,1 -1 .5 %C ,and small amounts of P,S,and other elements.MCSiMN is mainly used for producing medium carbon structural steels .
