Absolutely loved the tour. It was fun, entertaining, and knowledgeable. I grew up in Windsor all of my life and thought I would know everything. Nope! Loved it. I want to go again and bring more people with me.

Family were over from England and we took them for it to her of Hiram Walker & Sons Distillery. The tour lasted just over an hour and took you through much of the Distillery operation. The young lady that was doing the tour what's a full-time employee and was well-versed in all the operations but take place to create their whiskey. It was very informative and interesting. When the Torah was finished we ended up and their Reception Center for some whiskey tasting. I would encourage you not to wait until you have visitors to go see The Distillery. See it today for yourself. Then when company arrives you will be well-versed yourself. :-)

A genuinely fascinating piece of Windsor's history, there are guided tours available through Hiram Walker's offices with whiskey tastings and truly charming tour-guides. A great place to rent for events aswell, the riverside view is gorgeous.

From EC Row take Walker all the way to Riverside. Make Right on Riverside and again first right from Street lights. Docks are on right side. Drop lot on left for U turns etc.

Beautiful venue. It was like a fairytale with all the hanging lights and the beautiful windows. It was a bit of a pain to access the actual room where the event was. Signs weren't posted so it wasn't made clear and the security guy was weird and a bit over the top. He almost made me miss my friend's wedding because he made me stand outside the doors because he didnt want to interrupt it but i was literally entering at the back so no one even knew i slipped in. But i digress, beautiful spot!

Four of us went through the J.P. Wiser experience tour this afternoon. Our guide, Brittany, was very engaging and had a wealth of historical knowledge. The tasting was the highlight! Highly recommended.

This is a great tour for the money! $15 for a one hour tour of the working distillery and almost an hour taste testing of 4 of their whiskeys! The 2 tour guides were very knowledgeable, funny and entertaining. If you go during the hot months of summer...it s HOT! You do have to walk up 60 steps...easy but be aware and they ask you to wear closed toe shoes. I loved this tour! Go early so you can enjoy the view of the river and sit at the bar.

Very informative tour but I was there for the tasting after the tour. Once you are done the tasting that they offer you. You can buy a Walkin tasting and pick any four libations. I had the Dissertation (no longer available and the Seasoned oak (limited production). I wanted to buy both bottles but unfortunately only the seasoned oak was available.

I went to their store here on Saturday and they you know every single thing you need to know about their own product. Which makes it perfect to get real suggestions about each item depending on what you're looking for and your taste. My bottle purchase was real good experience.

Came in for the Tour. Beautiful center with the history and the views. Brittany was a great tour guide giving both the history and how whiskey is made. Samples were really good and the stories closed the circle.

Love the whiskey but the tour.. well was kind of boring. I felt there was more to see and I see people post online that we didnt see. And the tasting was only just regular off the shelf stuff. Let people try some stuff you cant buy or maybe wont buy because of the price. Lot 40 cask. Wisers 35. Something.

Everybody should try the #windsoreats tour. Worth every penny. Went with a party of 6 and had a blast. If you had a large party you would have an incredible time. Everyone is friends by the end of the tour because you'll get pretty puddled.

Too bad it's run by fools and thieves. Get your contract in writing. Bring it with you every time you go. Read it out loud to them. If you get in writing 'access to garden from 4:30-5:30" that is your time. Manager allowed wedding before ours to stay out til 5, told us our contact said "may or may not have access to gardens". So did the other people. Favoritism? We paid the same. We were told we could stay til 5:50 if we wanted at the time of the tour but on top of the other bull we were forced to leave at 5:30. Bull. Total bull. Unfortunately it's a very nice grounds to photo on and you have to put up with bull from a wanna be power trip.

Went on a tour last summer. If you're ever in Walkerville-(Windsor)make a trip to Hiram Walker & Sons .Hadn't been there since 1960,when as a young boy my Mom & Dad took me there on the bus.I still remember the smell of Hops or Liquor almost a mile away.Never forgot the place & it was refreshing to see that such a renown establishment was still alive.
