Michael is a lovely host and their coffee is strong !
Always a favorite. Wonderful menu filled with many healthy options. Great selection of coffees and teas. Their spiced chai latte is the best there is ... Anywhere.
Always a great experience whether you are picking up, dining at the bar, indoors or out. The waitstaff are friendly and attentive. The bison burger is the best!
Great food and friendly service. They went above and beyond to provide delicious and healthy lunches. Definitely recommend!
The coffee was very good, and the food was fresh and well prepared. The menu is fairly extensive and includes breakfast and lunch items as well as Gluten free and Veg choices. It is so nice to see a locally owned and opperated Coffee House/Wine Bar. This place is Great!
Slow service before 8am, when a couple more staff show up to make coffees.
I would have appreciated help with getting my take out food. I must not have heard my name and the employees let me sit there until I noticed a box on the counter and found it myself. Then I couldn t get help when I wanted to ask for a disposable fork/spoon.
Food good. Servings small. Prices high. Obviously. Good service.
Great food.
Cool owner
They have healthy food but their stuff is quite pricey and the bison burger I ate was way too dry.
I really like this place, but I wish they didn't put so much cheese in the quiche.
UPDATED: 1 year later I came back and it's completely different. Apparently it's now under new management. I've visited twice and the drinks I got have been fantastic. I can now recommend this place to others.
ORIGINAL: Unfortunately, this place is hit and miss for me. I've been here a few times. Half of the time it's awesome - great food, excellent coffee - other times, it's a complete disaster. Yesterday (Sunday) it was the latter. I stood in line for 5 minutes while 3 waitresses were trying to figure out their register. Had they simply looked up and communicated that it would be a couple minutes, I wouldn't have had a problem. When I finally was able to order my drink, it was another 5 minute wait. I watched the poor person behind me and they sat in line like me for at least 5 minutes before they were acknowledged.
Lastly, the drinks are spotty. It seems like everyone has their own way of making drinks. For example, I ordered the same drink (a sea salt caramel iced coffee) 3 times and they've tasted different every time. The first time I ordered it was amazing which was why I came back - then the last two times, it was absolutely horrible. 75% blended foam and 25% actual drink.
2 stars for inconsistency and disorganization. Make it more consistent and organized, and you'll have a 5 star vote from me.
Parking is awful, service slow and there are new hires seemingly every week (don't go there anymore, so maybe this has changed) and not inexpensive for what you get.
Decent food, exorbitant prices. Example: $5 for one pancake....
Fresh delicious food. Nice to have so many vegan and vegetarian options . Excellent service as well.
Breakfast here was excellent quality with great service and a fun atmosphere. I really appreciate the variety of healthy options and look forward to going back!
9 months ago I was given a card by the manager offering a "free meal" because my order was not right. I did not ask for a free meal; the manager graciously offered it by giving me a business card with a note on it for a free meal along with his signature. Tonight I went in for my free meal and after presenting the card I was approached by the manager who questioned the validity of the offer and was made to feel like I was somehow being dishonest. I was falsely accused and made to feel badly about using the offer of a free meal.the experience was extremely upsetting and I will never go back to this restaurant again!
I enjoy People's Organic for many reasons. You can tell that a lot of care goes into everything about this place. The menu is diverse and offers something with or without those pesky Glutens. The servers are knowledgeable, and helpful with any questions about ingredients. The beverage selection is amazing with a full list of loose leaf tea ,wine, and bottled beers.
Love the service as well as the food. Great place with outside seating!
I ordered the avocado toast (9.00). Their version of avocado toast is: approximately 1 Tablespoon of thinned down guacamole spread thin over two pieces of thin barely toasted seeded bread. It had a pile of cilantro and sunflower seeds on the top and an over abundance of rocky sea salt. There were no pieces of avocado at all! I had a side of the organic sausage which were the size of half dollars and were overblown with sage....my total price with a regular coffee came to 16.50.
Major disappointment!
This is the first bad review I ve ever posted online but I felt I must warm future patrons of a horrible choice on the menu. Steer clear...I don t know anyone who would feel good about eating this and paying a whopping 9 bucks!
Incredible difference from this location to uptown in Minneapolis. Food is quality, staff is kind, place feels clean and enjoyable to be in.
Great food and options for all vegetarians
Service is good, everyone is pleasant, it has a nice patio outside, breakfast is served all day and what I recommend. The coffee, while not at the level of some of the local boutique coffee shops, is certainly above average.
I love this location!! Okay, well I love all of their locations but the minnetonka mills is the best. So beautiful in the summer. The staff knows what I order. And the best shot of espresso I have ever had in my life. This coming from a former barista.
First timer, 2pm for breakfast. Love this place, the ambiance is very comfortable and relaxing, Kendall gives excellent service and is very attentive, and the breakfast bowl is visually appealing and tastes delicious. I'll definitely be back to try other items, they also serve wine until closing time.
Takes a long time to get your food, but very good atmosphere. Not cheap, but very good
Soup of the day was great and the Peoples Cobb salad was tasty. Portion size is fair and the staff is friendly. I enjoy the "not a chain restaurant" atmosphere.
Wonderful, healthy food. Imaginative and delicious.
I have been here a couple times for coffee. I am not normally one to seek out Organic foods, I just stopped here on a classic car drive. The coffee was excellent.
Their cesear salad, blueberry scones (without the caramel sauce), and chai tea latte are all great.
one word "Delicious" our waitress was the best!! unfortunately i cant remember her name or else trust me i would share it. great location, great food and great service.
let me share with you what we got. my boyfriend got the tacos HE LOVED THEM!! I got the salmon brown rice and grilled veggies. we also had the beat salad with goat cheese . YUM!
diffidently going back and diffidently recommending this place.
I had a veggie bean soup... The quantity failed to impress me for the price that was charged... I did like the bread that came along though...
There s better places out there. It s a little pricey and, nor the food or the service stands out .
Good service. Tasty food. Server often checked to make sure we were enjoying meal.
Our server Teresa was wonderful. The food was fabulous. If you want farm-to table, this is a great spot.
This place has great coffee, very good food including gluten free items and the staff is wonderful. Tamara, my employee also gives this 5 stars although she doesn't have a Google account. See all the other positive reviews, 4.3 overall is very good. You won't be disappointed.
Excellent service and food always! If you're in Minnetonka and you want breakfast go here.
Finally a heaven for vegetarians and vegan friends. Lots of options to choose from the menu if you're a herbivore like me :) best if all they're organic. I've tried their sandwich and wraps and they are quiet flavorful.
Beautiful outside patio and they allow dogs too. The service is a little slow around dinner time so not a place if you're in for a quick bite. Beautiful stream flowing at the back of the parking lot too!
We live in the neighborhood and and would love to frequent the place more but we are constantly disappointed with the inconsistent food quality and sometimes the poor service. I hope they can figure it out. The area needs a good consistant restaurant.
Food is quality, staff is kind, place feels clean and enjoyable to be in
Great food and service. We had the tilapia tacos and salmon in parchment. Both were excellent.
Delicious food, bottomless mimosas, and a patio. Perfect for a weekend brunch.
Love the atmosphere here! Great food and service! It is classy and comfortable!
Food took about an hour to prepare and it was mediocre at best.
Good food, great coffee and wine selection. Not a great place for working, but perfect for meeting up with a friend and catching up.
People s Organic has amazing food and really great service! It can be hard to find vegan options, but this place has a nice variety.
I had the chicken and wild rice and though it was ok it did not excite my taste buds for the price. The mocha was very good and the service was so so not bad but nothing that made me want to leave a tip. Keep in mind this was my first time here so they could just be having a day
Wonderful service. Waitress quite attentive. Flatbread entre very tasty. Salmon dinner not as good. Give it 4.5 stars.
Good green tea ice tea! Friendly staff and a great menu.
Usually, we have good experiences at this place. Today was not. The waiter forgot to put in our drink order. 10 mins later I asked if he put the drink in and he said no I forgot . Brings it to us 5 mins later and then charges us for it. It should ve been taken off the bill in my opinion.
A high quality experience, both in terms of coffee/food quality (excellent capuccino!) and service. Had a breakfast meeting and got distracted with work so my oatmeal got cold. The staff offered to re-heat it without my asking. Nice, clean local place with character.
The difference between a mediocre restaurant and a great restaurant is in the details. Unfortunately, People's Organic Cafe is missing the critical details that could make it an excellent place to eat. I have eaten at the Minnetonka location and the Eden Prairie location multiple times. Each time I visit, I am eager to give the restaurant another chance to shine and so badly want to leave a great review, like so many other Google reviewers have done. With their wonderful philosophy and their local and organic ingredients, there is great potential for this place. Unfortunately, the meal quality is inconsistent. Some menu items are good, many are mediocre, and some would be good if they were prepared properly. The Minnetonka location today handed out menus that were torn and dirty. We sat in chairs that were worn and dirty, and there were no paper towels in the bathroom. These things alone aren't a huge deal, but they set the stage for how people feel coming into a restaurant. Our food was mostly inedible (cold and dry). The potstickers were amazing, though...if only all the food and the other details were as great as the potstickers, I'd give People's a 5-star review! There is so much potential here, but it really needs some love and TLC to become great.
Really good coffee here. Good, locally sourced food too. I stop whenever I'm in the neighborhood.
I love this location!! Okay, well I love all of their locations but the minnetonka mills is the best. So beautiful in the summer. The staff knows what I order. And the best shot of espresso I have ever had in my life. This coming from a former barista.
People's Organic was our first stop once we got into town. We were staying in Minnetonka and some friends recommend we go there for lunch. Very cute cafe with a wide variety of selections. Right along the river and across from a biking trail we loved the atmosphere. We sat at the bar and enjoyed talking with the friendly staff. We ordered a chicken quesadilla to start and it was great. We enjoyed bottomless flavored mimosas and local craft beer. For entrees we ordered the tuna melt and grass fed burger. Overall we really enjoyed our lunch and exceptional service. Would go back when in town.
We had a lovely lunch there...food was great, service was fantastic! It is a little expensive for what it is and it was noisy....but I would definitely return. I would give it four and a half stars if I could.
Good food, very friendly staff, reasonable prices. We go here often.
I have only had bad experiences with the service here, which is a shame since the food is so good! I ordered curbside pickup, called upon arrival as instructed, and they never brought the food out. When I finally went in, they were rude and said "it's sitting right here, you are supposed to call for curbside." I did call! I gave it another chance today and they didn't put avocado on my bowl even though it's listed in the ingredients.
What a terrific new option for Minnetonka and surrounding area. Friendly and trendy is an accurate description. A wonderful assortment of local beers and wines.
The barista made me a regular latte instead of a cafe miel and when i was sitting at the bar the waitress rudely shoved my things away. Place was wonderful when i came yesterday and after today i will not be returning.
We are regulars and Theresa is our server most of the time! We love how she always greets us with a smile! Food is healthy and delicious. Highly recommend their best ever fried egg sandwich.
Excellent vegan choices; really enjoyed the chickpea burger. The mocha with almond milk was delicious.
Absolutely delicious! So great to have healthy options that taste so GOOD. We will be returning often.
I have celiac disease and most People's Organic locations are wonderful about trying to prevent cross contamination. After requesting that the grill surface be cleaned for my pancakes our waitress returned and told me she was embarrassed but the cooks would not clean the surface today, they said they were too busy. I chose to have a drink while my husband ate his lunch - their unwillingness to clean the surface made me concerned that they would not even take care to prevent cross contamination with a salad. But for non celiac people my husband enjoyed his meal, and the waitress was sweet as can be.
Awesome and flavorful food, I loved the character this place has, and the employees were welcoming. Will surely come back.
Best breakfast and lunch spot in Minnesota! Ate here everyday for one week and everyday was amazing. Excellent and very friendly service... real wholesome food with great taste as well. Can t recommend enough
A first rate restaurant with an amazing location. Atmosphere is great, very cool vibe. The food is a little pricey but it is definitely worth every penny.
Nice atmosphere, 100% organic full menu, fair trade coffee drinks, homemade bakery items, with local newspaper provided. Loved it! A bit higher priced, which is common in organic.
Cozy little restaurant in a non-descript area, but great flavors. I haven't had a bad thing here. I wouldn't consider it "normal" food options but everything they put together has really great tastes. It is also a convenient place to meet people even just for a cup of coffee or tea. The servers have always been very upbeat and helpful.
Great, unique menu. I need to go back and try everything.
