Penobscot Bay YMCA Review

Awesome facility and people there are so nice and friendly. They made my to to Camden Maine so much better. I was able to work out every morning in a beautiful facility. The customer service also were very friendly and helpful. They are only as mile from downtown Camden Maine. Very convenient!

This place great! Workers most helpful. Wear a mask. Pool open. 8 lanes. 45 min. Swim slots. Call to schedule day and time. Cleaning and sanitizing throughout to keep us ALL safe. Thank you, workers!! Appreciate all you do for us to have a friendly and clean environment to come and workout, recharge, and all the children who happily come in for care .

I was here to bring my patient for Therapy while on vacation in Maine. Before going to Maine I did some preplanning and glad I did. I picked this location being the services my patient would require. This location is a perfect place for handicap people to be able to do Physical Therapy. The staff is courteous and very professional. As I walked in the door I was greeted and welcomed as if I had been here before. I explained to the clerk what it was I was seeking and he was ready to direct me to the location. He listened to my needs and then transferred me to another staff member. This employee was just as courteous as the last one. Taking me on a tour of the place and explained everything in detail. He also assured me if there were any issues feel free to contact him. The lifeguards were outstanding and professional too. Thank you YMCA for all that you stand for my patient was able to continue with Therapy even while on vacation.

Great place love the YMCA. They have a sauna, pools and a basketball ball court. Pretty sure they offer karate classes. They just renovated the locker rooms. They have a weight room with lots of options for machines. They have a track that circles the basketball court and a cardio room with treadmills, ellipticals, steppers and more. No stair climber though. They also have a rock wall.

We go almost every day to use the track and exercise equipment. Courteous staff.

They Clean &Nice Works Walking/Caring for The Animals &They're Treated GD. And are Cared For Decently. And There's alot Of Different Types of Cats& Kitten's &Dogs &Puppies an That dogs Listen Very Well & Are Friendly & Loving Animal's Should

I love our local YMCA. Really great staff. Wonderful place to get in shape and work out.

Wonderful, spacious facility with a top-of-the-line ventilation system to keep everything healthy and safe. The management is welcoming and responsive!

The facility was clean and the staff were welcoming. It got pretty full at one point because a camp of some kind brought all the kids in so we wrapped it up earlier than we thought we would. Overall though it is a great place to spend time with the kids.

They charged $290 for a 45 minutes sessions. That's damn near $400 an hour. The session consisted of a light work out for 30 minutes and then 15 minutes of lying down with ice on my hip. So they charged me $100 for lying down. NOT worth what they charge.

Great place with many activities year around for kids and adults. Friendly front staff. Large work out area. Nice to have a pool in the winter.

Excellent strength training classes. Immaculately clean! Nice place.

Great location with almost all the amenities and programs one could ask for. Swimming pools, rock walls, an indoor track, as well as basketball courts, and a gymnastics setup this place seems to offer many features to keep all different walks of life active and healthy. Already love this location and the Y in general.
