I have been seeing a therapist there since 2013. I live with PTSD and trauma and I love my therapist. She is compassionate yet she challenges me. I started with PCBH in 2012 with another therapist. In all that time, I have never had an issue with that group. Everyone out there that I've met has been amazing. I will continue to go there until I no longer need the services.
Lack of communication. No progress. Cancelled services in April and just got a bill for 6 months of appointments. Claimed sessions were 45 minutes but were much less. Tried to move sessions to the office for better oversight and was told that option was not available.
We were with PCBH for four years for BHRS. The first three years were good but the last 9 to 12 months it was terrible. They didn't listen to any of my complaints and our last BSC only came maybe once a month to the house for TWO children that were to receive 16 hours a month EACH!! The one child has no real issues in school. All they do is PROTECT their staff by pulling them off the cases and they don't address the problems. I'm extremely dissatisfied and there are two complaints being filed. Do not use them for BHRS. Run to another agency. They suck!
I love my therapist and have experienced a different approach on ways of thinking with her. I have a long way to go but so thankful
These people are a joke, do not waste your time with them.Gettysburg is an unprofessional mess. Had to walk back in to get a dr note, when office and doctor were making fun of my daughter, laughing at her calling her names, so much for confidentiality, what pos place is this. Someone goes there for help and they treat her like a pos and make fun of her. This place needs shut down.unbelievable !!!!!!
Review of PCBH in regards to inquiry of therapy for a minor child. (Child of divided home/divorce.)
Tone of conversation changed as soon as inquired about receiving regular updates regarding therapy. Told the only option is to speak to the therapist at the time of pick-up. Not a very feasible in the present scenario. Asked about phone, email or other options to convey information. "Nope", "none", "nada", and pretty much once I began this inquiry Sandy the representative seemed intent to end the conversation.
How is it reasonable to provide medical care to a minor child, and offer no options for follow-up to the parents/legal guardians.
So if a child expresses being suicidal, or abused, or bullied at school -PCBH is basically saying that they are not going to inform you except at time of discussion. Provide no progress reports. Nor provide any guidance to needs of the child as expressed during therapy.
Gee, what good is that then?
Been going here since the start of 2018 for psychological counseling and psychiatric services. So far, the counseling is good and helpful, but the psychiatric services not so much. The only adult psychiatrist is only there one or two days each week, acts like he is talking down to you, repeats questions he already
asked you, passes blame onto front desk staff for lack of communication needed for patient information, and will not give prescriptions for certain medications. Has little or no accountability and should retire. They also make you come to their office to pick up paper prescriptions instead of accept calls from pharmacies to refill them. Overall, admin and clinical staff have less than stellar customer service support. Will be looking for new services I think real soon. Not satisfied.
Poor billing. They will charge you and not send you an invoice monthly, it is every quarter for in school counseling. I just received an $842 invoice for the entire 8th grade year my daughter seen a counselor at school, weekly. She is approaching her second marking period in 9th grade! And when I call them to ask what the heck is going on and why am I just now getting a bill, they told me they were sorry I was not properly informed at my intake appointment. I wouldn't recommend them unless you have money sitting in the bank and can pay LARGE invoices.
Trying to get services for a family member and the enrollment person was very rude and had an attitude the entire time I was giving her my family members infornation. I am looking else where for services. They were recommended by a professional.
Who ever the enrollment lady is, she is very rude, argumentative and critical.
Was not a very nurturing or helpful experience. I had to peel the information out of her. Not getting services at PCBH
