Why on earth would the psba sever membership from the nsba over the national decision to seek help from the justice department? Right now school boards in my area are besieged with threats and intimidation that law enforcement is either unwilling or unable to cope with. Your move is unacceptable and you need to send some representatives to SB meetings in Bucks County school districts to see how volatile this situation has become.

The PSBA, has done an awful job of vetting our Superintendent for the Coatesville Area School District. The School that our Superintendent came from, was on 4 TV Newscast, while her district was hollering for her resignation. Teachers from her district said she almost destroyed their district, as it is destroying ours. my question is. Who said she was a good fit. The superintendent that she was under was under investigation for mishandling a sex case with a Asst Principal. The Superintendent and Dr. Cathy Taschner both resigned. We are now in he process of having Community meetings. We have approximately 500 signatures that we've gathered this week. The two finalist that you sent us, both had baggage and was under investigation for one thing or another. We had to pick from the lesser of two evils, and we picked the wrong one. This Superintendent like her last district, has created a climate that has increased violence in the schools, A mass exodus of teachers from our district, and falling Academics. I would never, and I mean never, ever recommend or use this service again. Because of your shoddy vetting of our candidates, you are part and parcel of our problem

Awful legal department. Advise boards that voting in secret on official agency business and never revealing the vote to the public is ok! forget that elected officials are public servants. Policy issuance is sloppy and prolix and of course comes with the proviso that it may be incorrect. Well this is a problem when issuing policies on discrimination and bullying complaint processing, that contains major typos, incorrect information in the definition sections, and looks likes it's copied and pasted by a clueless 1L from another source. Learn the difference between policies and handbook guidelines. You are setting your members up for lawsuits.
