Free admission on President s Day, the day we visited. This art museum is spacious, neatly laid out, and well-curated overall. The World War I and American Art exhibition was of particular interest, showing the public response to the war and what life in the battlefield was like, especially for those who experienced it first-hand.

Stayed for two hours, which was enough to see all exhibits on two floors.

Temple students get in for free! Cool place with interesting pieces. There's no particular order to where the pieces are, it's all kind of in the same place. There's currently a theme they have going called "Swarm." Their gift shop was great too.

PAFA is on my top 10 places to take visitors who enjoy innovation and the arts. If you have a Free Library card, you can check out a daily pass for a free visit to the museum .That's how I discovered PAFA. I was so impressed that I now get an annual membership. They celebrate women artists and are dedicated to exploring multimedia and multicultural themes. They change exhibits 4 times a year, and talks are free with a membership. The museum is accessible to public transportation-just a few blocks from City Hall. These photos are from a collaborative exhibit with Scholastic, celebrating top high school artists in the U.S.

This is a wonderful museum that has modern art as well as more traditional paintings and sculptures. The older building is such an architectural treasure that it s with visiting the museum.

Wonderful museum of fine art. Very interesting architecture. I particularly love the work of American painters from around the late 1890s. This includes Cecelia Beaux and Thomas Eakins. Check out his "Gross Clinic." Both artists were local. Some din sculptures outside.

It is well worth going just to see the Thomas Eakins painting "Portrait of Dr. Samuel G. Gross" or "The Gross Clinic". It is truly exceptional. They share it with the Philadelphia Museum of Art so its only here half the time. They have other exceptional pieces of early American art.
