This place is an absolute disgrace. The staff is unprofessional and the grounds are not kept up. I would never let my children attend this campus. It gives Penn State a terrible name. It is torture for these kids. This should not even be considered a college.
We like to walk the campus on nice days. Nice areas for shade and the pond is nice.
Love this campus! Great college experience back in 89. Whew I'm getting old.
This is a beautiful campus, that provides a good learning environment. Students have access to lots of resources to help them succeed. There are fewer distractions at this campus than Main campus, making it an ideal place to acclimate to the college lifestyle. That being said, it is a large branch campus and has the feel of a private university, and is every bit as selfsufficient.
Well- maintained Branch Campus. Excellent athletic facilities. Outstanding "town- gown relationship"!
Great college to go to. Became friends with many professors, and still close to them to this day. Great for networking.
I love it so much because I can ride my scooter with my dog.
One of Penn State's most beautiful campuses with a wide range of academic options and places for evening walks!
The campus is very scenic and well maintained. The majority of the faculty are wonderful, however there are some that are very difficult to work with. As a student, you should be aware of all campus policies to understand what is and is not allowed.
Worst Penn state campus, not only don t the dryers not dry your close all the way. The food is near unedible, the doors sometimes lock you out for no reason. I m just straight up not having a good time right now.
Loved my time in Altoona. Nothing but good things to say
Nice campus. The parties were fun. I couldn't return because they messed up my financial aid. I ended up being charged tuition after dropping a class. Such a shame, I missed out on a great education because of that. Avoid the Korean microeconomics professor, his tests are barely understandable because of the broken English. The world religions class was pretty fun. I never met so many Russians before haha.
Beautiful campus.
Faculty are awesome for the most part.
Dining hall is expensive.
