Crowded on the weekends but worth the anxiety. Good deals on good food!!!

Don't buy the "homade" breakfast sausages, especially if you have high blood pressure!!! There is no flavor except a salt bomb

One of the cashier's there gave me the worst experiences I've ever had. Whenever I shop there she follows me with her eyes. She seems to work early mornings so my visit was fine because she was not there this evening .

We love shopping at margate. The selections on every thing is great. We don't have to go to another store to buy what we want. The prices are also good. We travel a long distance to get to the store but it's worth it.

Me and my family have been shopping here weekly for years and never had a problem until 4/6/2018. While we were being cashed out by 'Damoya' she was very rude and unprofessional to me and my mom. We did 2 transactions which on the second we forgot to show a coupon so she declined to scan it and said that she would have to re ring everything again so she wouldn't. Then she started rolling her eyes and said can you just pay already while looking at the bagger and making weird faces. Then when the receipt prints out she waved it around and said take it already. I have been in customer service over 10 years and this is very shocking to see especially at this store. Honestly I don't know if i'll be coming back here all because of this one employee who ruined it for everybody.

Great store with lots of variety. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Good prices. Will be shopping there more often!

Excellent smoked cheeses and their own in house smoked meats, deli cuts, fresh food, chicken that isn't fed with antibiotics, wild-caught fish and shrimp with fresh baked bread. I recommend them to everyone! I wish they could open more locations, but they like to keep their quality top notch so one location in Margate FL and the other Hollywood FL!

Penn Dutch has everything you could imagine. So far the place is clean, and they always seem to have they wine at a good price.

I come here for the beer sausages and their produce. They also have good cuts of meat.

It's now three generations who have shopped since they opened in Hollywood... Need I say more!

they consistantly have excellent products, great prices. and good service whenever I shop there. I really like shopping there even if I do not get a belly-buster and soda to go.

Good luck if you like being harassed by management and treated like a slave and forced to sell expired or food that's has fallen on the ground. Don't trust anything from the deli department in Margate. They call customers who get food poisoning liars and reheat their ribs in the seafood steamer multiple days in a row. They break food saftey standards by keeping food IN the temperature danger zone(rib cart and ends and pieces) they use a toxic lubricant in the slicing room that makes contact with All the meat. Their cold cases Are always 10 degrees hotter than the inspectors allow because the are to cheap to fix their fans. They only care about money by buying expired product and using nail polish remover to remove the expiration date. If you refuse to break food saftey laws they will harass and label you a problem to the company. There is an obvious reason the Margate location smells like something is rotting and fermenting.

Penn Dutch Food Center is a great supermarket with fresh quality products and reasonable price

Great meat selection, the store is poorly designed, items are hidden and difficult to find. Prices are higher than expected if your not buying meat or beans.

Great prices on produce, meat, seafood, and in house smoked meats

1st time inside of this place and wow, what a zoo. Not sure how the prices were I left my cart and walked out. People running into each other with carts. Places looks a little dirty inside as well. Just not for me, I rather pay more for a peace of mind.

I swear by this place! I used to travel to the Hollywood location.....Was so glad when Margate location opened. Fresh vegs, Fresh seafood, Great meat prices. Terrific selection of cheese and half the price of Publix.

This is NOT a super market, this is a pennsylvania dutch butcher shop family owned and operated to help their fellow neighbors get by on a tight budget. The meat is prepared with love and while some of the food is processed crap they have it because people insist on it. A buck can go a long way here if done correctly. They have a lot crammed into a very small space but thank God they are resourceful and love their neighbors and are committed to seeing people have access to quality food whne they are broke! Thank you Penn Dutch for being the last of a dying breed of American culture that puts people before profit!

The shelves are well stocked. Prices are favorable and the services are exceptional.

Best local seafood counter around. Their prices are there select and Choice Meats can't be beat. They also carry grass fed. They make most of their own Lunch Meat and Deli snacks which are absolutely delicious. They have people in their Wine Cellar to help you pair their wines with the food. Beautiful Farmers Market selection. If you want to go to Quality and save money then you need to shop here!

The variety of items took me back to the supermarkets in N.Y.

The fish I ordered for my annual fish fry was great. The service was very accommodating.

I love the butcher service that you offer, which l have used from time to time, and your meats are the freshest and very high quality. Your store is my go to place for produce, deli, and fresh bakery, seafood, and not to mention meats and wine. I've been shopping here for many years, way before the margate store ever opened. Penn Dutch is the place to shop for all of my grocery needs!

This is the only butcher shop in town. They have the best seafood. You can get two entire chickens for $5.99! If you are looking for weird produce, they have it. This is one of the few places I can get Lychees!

Be careful, all food stores can sell bad food! It is up to you to determine what good food is. I have bought meat at other supermarkets that was bad, the same can be said for Penn Dutch. This is not a problem with the store it is a problem with storing raw meat, it spoils!

When it comes to meat, seafood, produce or cheese Penn Dutch is where you need to go.
The store is also clean and smells good.

I like Penn Dutch. The stores have a large variety of items and the prices are great. Over the years I've figured out what I like and what I leave. They also have unusual cuts, can fulfill large offers and even have whole pigs. Worth a visit. Busy in general, very busy on weekends.

I love the variety of meat choices and the produce section is clean and organized.

Has good value meats. Not always quality meats. Have seen many products cut wrong or mislabeled. Last week advertised steelhead salmon at 5.99 lb save 7 dollars. Steelhead is silver with no stripe. What they had was rainbow trout, the usual price is 5.99. Deceptive marketing tactics might be common in this world, but they don't impress me. The lack of ethics make me question the rest of there business. Would they take old product and put new date? Would the take a rotten piece of meat trim of the bad parts and sell the rest? Buying fresh meat and fish is an act of faith for the customer. Why take a chance. Many other meat markets in area.

We travel 90 miles each way to shop at Penn Dutch. Their food quality is the very best. They offer choices not found elsewhere. Nothing comes close to the flavor and texture of Penn Dutch smoked hams. Every item under the Penn Dutch label is unparalleled in any other marketplace. If only there were a Penn Dutch Food Center closer to Port Saint Lucie !!!

I love pen Dutch the only place that I go to to pick out all my Meats great sales fresh fruit but my favorite is the fish I used to have a place that I used to go to call the Fish Emporium which no longer exist they had the most delicious fish and never smell like when he walked into place that's all they sold now I only buy my fish at pen Dutch a matter of fact I was just there today got a beautiful whole salmon have they cleaned it cut it cut it to how I wanted it to be at 499 a pound how can you beat that

I travel 34 miles once a month to Penn Dutch to get the specialities only they have. I wish they open a store in West Palm Beach.
