Pella Aquatic Center Review

Great fun, clean, lots of life guards, great treasure for Pella and surrounding areas

Was there for 2 and a half hours kids swimming in deep end and using slides. Then a life guard requested they do a swimming test or get out of the deep end, after they had all ready been swimming in deep end. Not fair to test a child after almost 3 hours of swimming there muscles would be tired. Not to mention there were others without wristbands and couldn't swim near as well as others. I believe I was subjected to discrimination as I wasn't from pella. Will never return to this park. Save your time and money!

The Pella Aquatic Center is THEE place to be in the summer! From morning swim aerobics and swimming lessons to noon lap swims or walking against the current in the Adventure River to swimming, diving, jumping off the boards, twisting and slipping your way down the slides to a fun float around the river on a tube in the afternoons and evenings, the Pella Aquatic Center offers fun for all ages. It's a super fun way to spend a summer day in Pella!!

Went to the outdoor center yesterday for the first time. It was not overly crowded like some water parks which was nice. Lots of lifeguards though that is never a replacement for supervising your own children. My kiddos enjoyed the tube slides and lazy river. My only issue was that the plunge pool at the end of the tube slides is not as deep as it probably should be at less then 4 feet. I ended up getting some cuts and scrapes on my leg and foot when we flipped off the tube after exiting the tube slide. So I will bring liquid bandaid next time we come. They do have a first aid station their but only regular fabric bandaids that come off in the water. Overall we did have a very good time thought apparently did not use enough sun screen which is available for free at the outdoor park. They also have a concession stand with some ice cream, cold drinks, candy, chips, and nachos/cheese and pretzel/cheese.

Great choice of indoor olympic length pool, or shorter outside for laps. Many fun slides and for young children short so parent can see. Many lifeguards.

I don t where to start. Absolutely amazing! Every time I come here I am astounded at how quickly admissions works along! The management is fantastic. I spoke with one of the guards whilst they were coming off break and he was so respectful and guaranteed our safety. I was able to sit back and relax knowing my child would be well guarded ;) in the water. There was a tall man with dark hair that was bringing water around to the guards. The pool had just announced they would be closing due to low attendance. I asked him what that entailed and he explained to me they had announced just the lazy river was closing! Oopsies!! Quite the lavish young man I must say. Never the less my little girl had the greatest time splashing around with her friends. I would definitely recommend for anyone on the fence about going.

The outside looked very nice while I was waiting for my wife and son to get done with the swimming class

Great facility!!! Very clean and tidy!! Lifeguards are informed and friendly I love the fish slide and animal flotation devices! Really great place for some family fun? Highly recommend

Beware the lazy river.

Great place for the kiddos and the grown ups while we were camping at the lake!
