Overall our stay has been great. Although there have been a few things that make this 4 instead of 5...

THE PHAT:

*The staff are all friendly and helpful. They really do look after you. Can't rate them higher.
*Brilliant location - Literally walk onto the beach. Surrounded by restaurants and bars and shops.
*Pool side bar
*Nice sized rooms
*Cleaned well every day
*breakfast is varied and I think changes somewhat every day.

THE NOT SO PHAT:
*The rooms are abit dated and our room had a broken light fitting. Horrific for my ocd.
*The "and spa" part really is separate. You have to pay alot for a massage or to use the jacuzzi and the sauna was broken during our stay. And the gym is some what lacking.
*infinity pool overlooking the sea... The infinity part overlooks the restaurant... Strange design if you ask me.
*not enough sunbeds, however the staff are really on this and try there best to get you one when it's available.

Stayed for almost a month, rooms spotless every day. Loved the staff as always friendly and put in that extra effort to help when it was needed. Location was perfect to allow different activities.

Excellent location.Clean rooms but a bit older but still has some Balinese charm.Food was good.

We stayed here in March 2020. Loved the location of the hotel. No complaints from us, as we found everything great, from the lovely friendly staff, to the beautiful breakfasts. The pool was wonderful for the hot days we had. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall experience is 3.5. The staff is 5*. They are very friendly, helpful and welcoming.
Room was spacious enough, but bit outdated. We would give 3.
The location of the place is great. From the pool you can see the ocean and the pool is area with the sunken bar is a fun place to spend time at.
We ordered lunch at the hotel and it was very tasty, prices good.

Loved every second of this place- the location is amazing. Right on the beach where all the restaurants are and opposite the front of the hotel is a servo with everything. The buffet breakfast had a wonderful selection that was yummy- we stayed 8 nights and never had breakfast elsewhere. The staff were so kind and the pool and pool bar was definitely our favourite hangout place. Beds are very comfortable and rooms are average size but lovely Balinese style and I loved how they gave the bathroom a good scrub everyday- you can smell the disinfectant. Will definitely be back!!

Stayed here for 16 days and loved every day there! The staff were amazing, seriously the best people!
During our stay we had the buffet breakfast everyday, it was quite good.
We ate at the restaurant here a few times after a long day and each meal was good but you might find something better along the beach.
Room serivce is nice and quick and very polite when they come to your door.

There are only a few downfalls for Pelangi:
1.The Tv's need updating big time, they are coil tvs from the 90s (i know there are better things to do in bali but when you get back to your room after a long day and night; sometimes you just want to watch fast and the furious on tv).
2.The bathroom was ok, it needs a bigger exhaust fan to suck out all of the steam. It could do with some cupboards in the bathroom.
3.No place to hang your bathers to dry.
4. The bed was horribad. Pretty hard and all springs.

The aircon in the room 10/10 great always worked and the little bar fridge was great (big enough to pop a 2L water in).
The pool was great! Chilled in the sun all morning after breaky then went for a swim before heading out for the day.

I would recommend Pelangi its great for its price! Make sure you tip the staff they are super friendly.

Fantastic hotel, excellent food. Pool is the best. Service is friendly. Right next to the beach. Will be back.

Hotel is a bit old and dated but service was very good. Hotel and facilities were clean and location was perfect
