As a current employee, the first thing I will tell anyone is Run the other way.
As a company we are trained to be customer focused as soon as we are on the floor calls per hour are more important than the customer, we have an extremely high turnover of employees, Management cares more about lining their pockets and incentives are driving to promote call per hour to increase bottom line. The only upside to the role is the general people I work with. I watch great people leaving the company due the unrealistic targets. If I had somewhere better to go I would leave in a heartbeat.
Feel free if you think I'm being bias join me we hire every week to cater for the turnover.
I should have trusted my gut instinct from the moment I had a phone call from them. Very unprofessional. They were extremely awkward/rigid and asked me certain questions multiple times (literally in the same conversation) about things on my resume, which they would have known if their claims to have read my resume before the conversation where actually true. They also lack fundamental communication skills and can't own up to making a mistake. They sent me for an assessment which was scheduled for 1pm, with the foyer listed as the meeting location. I was there one minute before 1 and told to wait. 10 minutes later I was escorted by an unfriendly women and told I was late for the assessment even though I arrived on time as requested. When I told them I was present exactly when the email requested me to be and that it did not mention anywhere for me to arrive before the meeting time, I was told it must be a "communications problem" implying I am the one with issue.
Its 2017, I can't believe these guys are trained to hire people the way they are. They have this "one size fit's all" approach to deciding how good a fit you would be for a position. Which unlike every other recruitment company I know of that is actually doing better than them, Is not the skills the individual developed through previous employment, nor is the the employment history, or the characteristics/personality and inner strengths of the client.
They literally disregard everything that makes a person employable in light of how you do in their outdated group assessment that has no relevance to the type of work they are hiring for.
I can't believe the arrogance of these people to think that they know a better way of judging the worth of someone then 95% of other recruitment companies. If you ask me, nothing they do indicates a desire to help people, but rather to just follow all their rigid and awkward guidelines so they don't get fired. If anyone questions their companies "unique" and "inflexible, black and white" values, they are black listed regardless of if they are an employee/recruiter/job-seeker.
I couldn't think of a more inappropriate and manipulative way of recruiting people then how these guys do it.
Don't waste your time here, go to any of the other recruitment companies that are living in this place we call reality where common sense, intelligence and good will are actually valued qualities, along with an individuals time which I must add is a precious commodity regardless of what peak-bound might try convince you to believe.
