I have tried since December to get an appt
They called me dec 7 and left a message saying they needed me to call back for some info for tricare to make an appt I have called 4 times and was told
To leave the lady a message and sent a email request and still no return phone calls back ... after reading the reviews I think I will be looking elsewhere for a doc since they do not want to get an appt set up

Dr. Nguyen is knowledgeable and efficient. Within a few minutes, he was able to assess my husband's needs, set up further procedures, and assuage our concerns. In the past, Dr. Nguyen quickly fixed a GI bleed that others had been unable to find. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a good gastroenterologist.

Little peeved right now. Someone at this place needs to figure out how to pick up a phone. The Dr screwed up my prescription on Friday and its now 6 in the evening on Monday and they still haven't fixed the issue. If I was this bad at my job I wouldn't have one....

If you enjoy waiting for over an hour and a half from your original appointment time, and then being treated like your time doesn't matter, then this is the place for you. Difficult to get ahold of. Less than stellar front desk. All-in-all, a very unprofessional environment. Find somewhere else.

Horrible at answering and returning phone calls even for scheduling!!! As a professional scheduler for a care facility in town where residents under our care need to be seen and usually on a steady basis this is one if the worst places I deal with in town by far!!! I would not reccomend PG not only for my residents but my own personal family and friends!!!

I am not exaggerating when I say Dr. Krishnan gave me my life back. I met him by chance when I was in the hospital and am so grateful. He is kind, caring, and determined. His assistant Jane returns calls immediately and is very supportive. I have nothing but good things to say about Peak Gastro. If you are tired of other doctors ignoring your symptoms and are looking for a doctor who truly cares about his patients and is passionate about GI health, schedule an appointment with Dr. Krishnan.

Not sure what the deal is with this place lately. I can't get anyone to answer or return my calls. It's getting pretty ridiculous now.
I saw a provider a month ago and the scheduler (who had her Covid required mask around her chin, not her mouth/nose) said she would "email" the other scheduler. Well...1 month later and 5 or 6 unreturned phone calls, I still don't have an appt for my procedure!!
I walked past my doc the other day and was tempted to stop him and ask what the issue is with the office.

Do not waste your precious time going to this practice. They are extremely unprofessional, and it's very obvious you are one cow in cattle call...just a number and money. Bed side manner is the worst I have ever dealt with. Ever. Find another group!!!

The staff there is great, including the front desk personnel. They are friendly, prompt, and attentive. I can't evaluate individual complaints regarding setting up appointments by phone, but that was certainly not my experience--not at all--and I was only recently referred to Peak Gastroenterology as a new patient.

Dr. Nzeako, who is now my gastroenterologist, is an outstanding physician. Descriptors I associate with him: CARING, attentive, patient, thorough, excellent communication skills, and of course knowledgeable. He does his homework; he is prepared for his appointments. And his medical assistant, too, checks all of these descriptive boxes. Perhaps it's needless for me to say, but I am quite happy with my decision.

Used to be a awesome place to go. Was friendly and caring but no they could care less. Takes several calls to get refills and when they finally schedule a video appointment, The doctor never shows up and no call from anyone until a hours and half after his appointment and they act like it was ok. Get the call saying Doctor will be on shortly well a little late you think. Still no call or answer from them. Left several voice-mail and nothing. This place has gone down hill. It sad too. I know they can do better then this.

Dr Krishnan is the one gastroenterologist who had been able to diagnose my issues and help me really solve my issues. He also encourages me to improve my overall health by losing weight which I appreciate.

If I could give 0 stars I would! The care my adult daughter has received has been sub par from the very beginning. From the receptionists all the way to nurse practitioner... it is like the bargin bin of medical care.
Phone calls go unanswered, messages unreturned...
My daughter was sent twice for testing that could not be performed because she had an active infection...
Protect your life, avoid this practice!

The office focus is on dollars not customer care. Due to my illness I must
see the doctor once a month. I was 10 minutes late for my appt., after 20 minutes I asked how much longer, the front desk had highlighted my name in yellow, the normal color is pink, and informed me that they have to check to see if they could fit me in. I was later told that it will be more than an hour.

Dr. Nguyen and his medical assistant Sophia are fantastic. I've never met a doctor able to put me more at ease. Sophia went out of her way to arrange needed resources after my feeding tube placement. They are a dynamic team.

I can't believe the lack of professionalism, I need to have my follow up appointment and have called ATLEAST 10 times over the past month and never get an answer, I leave messages, but nobody responds. Besides this, my test results were missing. Twice! Once they blamed on the lab, the other time I just had to do blood work again.

Do NOT see Patel. I had a capsule endoscopy done there and the report was said to have seen the capsule enter my large intestine. I m 90% sure I have an internal hernia because 2 hours after they took the transmitter off of me I felt the capsule pop twice inside of my intestines. Have lost 50 lbs in 2 months and am in constant pain. The only way to diagnose an internal hernia is through exploratory laparoscopy surgery and I can t find a surgeon that will do it because of Patel and Pintos report saying that they watched the capsule pass through my entire small bowel and that it is perfectly normal. If my small bowel is perfectly normal then why do I have black (blood) in my stool from small intestine bleeding? Internal hernias have a 50% mortality rate if left untreated and I can t get a diagnosis because they falsified the report after I threatened to sue for failure to diagnose. This business is going to cost me my life and it will not be in vein. My family is going to come after you when they do an autopsy on me. The care here is absolutely a death sentence if you have an maternal hernia and I wouldn t send my worst enemy to this place.it is a slow, painful death and I m not going to get the help I need because of what Patel and Pinto did.

I had an appointment with Dr. Sidhu at this office. I arrived and discovered that she was not there. I had never been notified. I made a second appointment and they could not see me for a full month. I went to my appointment and again Dr. Sidhu was unavailable and I had not been called. On both occasions, the staff at the front desk did not say "We are sorry" and no logical explanation was given. They offered me another appointment one month later, but no thanks!

I went there for an appointment today and I was trying to call them to tell them I was running last. For there and they told me to reschedule my appointment and the office manager was rude. People there with a cold. Am not going back there.

Peak Gastroenterology staff is very professional. Dr. Patel is very knowledgeable in his specialty field. I may not always appreciate some things Dr. Patel tells me i.e., lose weight, but I keep it in perspective that he is only telling me what is best for my health. I trust this office and this doctor with my health. I gave them 4 stars only because sometimes it is hard to call in and speak to a staff member. I would recommend this office to anyone.
