I just ordered some Shrimp and Grits from here and had it delivered to my job. Now first off, Whenever i'm being lazy and order food, I don't have high expectations because the food might be cold etc.

LET ME TELL Y'ALL SOMETHING BEST FREAKING SHRIMP AND GRITS I'VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. Not too spicy, the sauce was decadent, the grits cooked to perfection. I swear ON GOD my soul rose from out of my body and transcended into a higher realm. I was blown away.

AND THIS WAS DELIVERED.... Do yourself a favor and go try their food. Thank me later.

Apple fritters to start, yummy. The pumpkin pancakes were wonderful and our server Jeannie was a joy.
Highly recommend this cafe to all to enjoy a wonderful breakfast that is fast, but not fast food.

Peach Valley is cool, but needs hashbrowns. It is crazy to me this great breakfast place doesn't have one of the most popular and easy to make breakfast sides but have underseasoned lightly cooked potato chunks.

Not very impressed. First time here. Granted I'm not a breakfast person, but I'd much rather go to Flying Biscuit or World of Beer where the food is more personalized and not so bla.. I don't know why people stand in line to go here. Bagels unlimited is much better than this place.

Always a purposeful stop. Gotta get my Peach Valley Cafe hot pepper sauce (for sale $5.99) and some of the chefs infamous homemade peach salad dressing (not for sale).
The Peach Bellini is a must.

Decent breakfast. Omelettes are made well, with enough ingredients and cooked thoroughly. Limited hours - they're only open until 3pm. Very busy on weekends. Location is convenient. Parking is easy. I recommend trying them out.

My wife and I met some relatives for brunch at the Peach Valley Cafe in Gainesville, FL and it was even better than our first experience in Lake Mary, FL at this small restaurant chain. I simply could not find anything less than perfect with both the service and food.

I had the Peach Picker s Breakfast Bowl and it was amazing! Their signature home fries, ham, peppers, onions, topped with eggs and their truly wonderful sausage gravy. Every single item of all four meals was wonderful and cooked to perfection, and we each had different breakfast entrees.

If I'm ever in this area again I will eat here as many mornings as possible and I highly recommend it to anyone in the Gainesville, FL area or even if you re just passing through. A word of caution, though be prepared for at least a wait, even during the week if it s prime breakfast time. But persevere the wait so worth it!

Have been many times over 15 yrs, but today was sub par. They changed the peach tea to unsweetened. Why change a recipe that has worked for so many years. My pancake wasn't cooked all the way and I personally witnessed three different orders sent back while we where there. Very disappointed. I hope they get things figured out until then I believe I will try to find a different spot for my breakfast in Gainesville.

Food was good but customer service was terrible. Ordered carry out and arrived at the appointed time. Told it would be 5-10 minutes additional wait. While I m waiting the front desk tells off another customer stating carry out orders are the lowest in priority. After waiting 10 minutes, my order is found (has been ready the entire time). Food was tasty but lukewarm and soggy

BEST CHORIZO hands down! So flavorful! The rest of the breakfast did not disappoint either! Harvest pancake was to die for. Good brand of hot tea, house hot sauce was delicious, and gravy was fresh made. Our server, Francheska, was attentive and friendly. Immediate bar seating available. Manager looked like he was on top of things, not just standing around. Best breakfast joint in Gainesville!!

Theres always a long wait for brunch on the weekends so make sure you take that into a factor and everyone in the party needs to be there to be seated. The staff are very nice and friendly. We ordered the fried fritters and it was so delicious (and I'm not even a big fan of fried food). I order the pickler's skillet and the portion were generous both in size and taste!!!

Is it just me or is this place a joke? I guess its me...

I am an alumni of the University of Florida and I went back to Gainesville a month ago. I am not sure when this place was open because I did not know about it before this and I just recently graduated in May 2012.

It was graduation weekend so I understand it can be busy and I didn't really mind the wait. I went with two friends and we got seated about 15-20 minutes later. I honestly don't remember what was on the menu. I ordered some fruits with granola and yogurt because it looked amazing from the table next to ours. Well, it did look good, and I took a 100+ facebook likes picture of it, but it tastes terrible. I could clearly tell they were frozen fruits because I tasted those nasty freezer taste. I can't remember what else I ordered because everything just went downhill from that point.

The only good thing is that service was decent and the bill went along with the quality of food. I think it was around $25-30 for three people. It was not heartbreaking to pick it up.

My son and I visited the Peach Valley Cafe for breakfast just before touring UF. It was fantastic! I got one of the skillets and my son tried the pancakes. Both were delicious. The homemade biscuits were one of my favorite parts. I would definitely recommend it!

So when you are in Gainesville this is the place for breakfast. Had the cinnamon roll pancakes and they were spot on delish. Also had the apple fritters which these aare known for, trust me you want to try them, they come with yogurt as a dipping sauce but ask for the caramel.. you will be glad you did. Great service, they were busy but got us in quick and the food arrived fast also considering how busy they were.

The decor is nothing special--kinda like an IHOP--but the food is really good and the servers are fantastic. I got the Valley Fiesta and really loved the sauce on it. Plus, they were open the morning Dorian was supposed to hit and I really appreciated it!

Staff is usually pleasant, but the food is just alright. I've never understood why there is ALWAYS a waiting line. Their are much better breakfast joints around Gainesville. (Though the apple fritters are legit).

The service was good, prices are right and food is tasty. The main problem is that my daughter, who is vegetarian moving slowly into vegan, ordered the house potatoes and at the first bite she noticed a bacon taste..indeed they cooked it on bacon grease..It doesn t said in the menu, nor the waiter clarified that....The manager apologized and did not charge for her meal...but they sure have to do something about it.
