It's a really vegan place, lots of 'health' options. They have regular food too, and it's pretty good (I mean, items with meat and butter, and deliciousness). Definitely fancier menu then most other breakfast places around town. We went with friends and this place had something for everyone. The chicken and waffles was really good, with that kinda spicy Chipotle syrup, yummm

We were seated immediately on the patio but decided to leave after no contact from a waiter after 30 minutes. There was a table that was sat next to us and received drinks even after we were seated. Kind servers but a bit unorganized.

Great food and great service. Went for brunch and they quoted us an hour wait, however, we were seated in only 30 minutes. Chicken and Waffles were to-die-for and the Bloody Mary was one of the best I've ever had. Totally worth the wait.

To me, it is the best breakfast place in Gainesville. Great food, ambience, staffs, and service. Other than food, their Mimosa is...absolutely on point.

Edit: I am having to revise my review and give 2 stars only because I have noticed the quality of food has plummeted significantly in the past year. I am not sure whether the previous cook is not working anymore or sth else, I just don't know. The foods are more salty, potatoes burnt on all 3 orders on our table, they taste more bland than ever, plus there has been a noticeable upcharge for the items. Can you imagine being charged $4.99 for single pancake? That's insane. It's surprising that how it became from the most favorite breakfast place to one of the least favorite ones in my book.

Interesting and exciting menu. Definitely has some favorites including chicken and waffles, biscuits and gravy, and delicious apple fritters. You really can't go wrong with much of anything on the menu.

Biggest downside...there's always a wait. Wait to get seated, wait to get your order taken, then a wait to get food.

The food is delicious and the choices are exciting. Not just a diner. The prices are also quite good. The name of the game is avoiding long waits. If you get a chance to go when the students are out of town, go.

We stayed overnight in Gainesville on our way to St Pete and just happened to find Peach Valley Cafe on google maps. The reviews sounded great so we tried it out. We were extremely pleased! We arrived for a late breakfast, so some of us (party of 4) had traditional breakfast while others had lunch. The apple fritters were amazing. All of the food was great and exactly as ordered. Will definitely try to stop in again when in the area!

This is one of my favorite breakfast places in Gainesville. Apple fritters are so delicious. Never had problems with the waiters and it's usually really busy. Sometimes you have to wait a while to get seated. Would recommend

Excellent food all round, except the beef hash isn't hash, it's got huge chunks of beef, not shredded into the potatoes. Also they didn't contact me when order was ready for pickup but it was ready on time or maybe before. Guy at counter was super helpful and they were very busy at the time, so kudos to the staff. Looking forward to next visit.

I have been looking forward to trying Peach Valley for the longest time and walked away with mixed feelings after my first visit. The menu has some very interesting and creative spins on traditional breakfast fare. The two I tried were the chicken and waffles with blueberry butter and Cajun syrup and the Peach Valley skillet. I really liked their attempt to spice up the chicken and waffles but it just wasn't quite as flavorful as I'd hoped, Southern Charm traditional take comes out way better IMO. The skillet was a little bland as well and it tasted like the potatoes were cooked in old oil. Despite all this the meal was a little better than mediocre.

In summary I am looking forward to going back and trying some other dishes, but my experience wasn't everything I had hoped it would be.

I enjoyed my lunch. I tried the Valley Fiesta which to me is a split between brkfst and lunch, brunch I guess. It was really good, fresh with a hint of spice. The Mexican sausage was different but flavorable. I hope that I named the lunch correctly. The atmosphere of the place is nice and pleasant. The layout is an open floor with a choice of cubbies or table dining as well as an option for outdoor seating. The waiter was respectful and courteous. I went there twice so far with my job and now plan to take my family soon. I believe that they will enjoy it.

owners changed and they have cut back on portions. Not only are they expensive, but now you get a 2 oz container for grits.... GRITS are so cheap to make. This was told to me by the Gainesville culinary manager? his best answer was this is how it is, and he is only doing what he's told. told me to contact home office w/my complaint. Crazy

Portions are small for the price you pay. They love to emphasize their apple fritters with strawberry yogurt. It's basically a cinnamon apple donut ball. The waiter was ok he didn't seem happy to work there. I had scrambled eggs, 2 slices of bread, and potatoes. We went on a Monday morning so it wasn't busy. My husband had spent over $12 on a omelette. The mimosa did not taste good and it was $10-$15.

Trying to be overly fancy while still being cheap quality. Fruit bowl = unripe cantaloupe with 3 grapes bowl, 10 dollar sandwich = some sausage an egg and some diced tomatoes... thats it... it just feels like a rip off. AND THERE IS NOTHING ON THE MENU WITH ACTUAL PEACHES! I think this place gave me an aneurysm.

Went there for breakfast before our outing and after a short wait we drew a booth. Angel gave us quick service and got us coffee to tide us over until our order came. I had the Western Omelet while wife had the eggs over easy. My omelet was small but thick with a good number of fixings, hers was cooked the way she ordered. Home fries were crispy and the muffin appeared to have been made on site and not out of a box. Her bacon also was done crispy without being burned. We had no problems with the food or service, but we did have an issue trying to find the place, which is tucked in a shopping center with no clear markings until you drove around the building.

This place has been consistently great for over 10 years. I know a lot of their former employees and some current employees and they are all great people and great employees. Looks like they have a new manager who seems nice and effective. Did is great, service was great. The wait can be long, so I got a seat at the counter without a wait.

Great staff, great food and more importantly great...

Great staff, great food and more importantly great parking. No turkey bacon here, but they have turkey sausage, if you want the gobble bacon you gotta go to Metro Diner down the road. Get here (Peach Valley) at or before 8:30am Sat/Sun and there's no wait for a table.

Football weekends are a dead certainty that this restaurant (and Metro Diner) will be packed out with a 30-45 min table wait by about 8:45 am.
I've been doing this long enough to see that pattern. So if you don't mind hanging around take your time but if you're like me and you want to show up with family and just get a table, aim for the 7:30-8:00 am slot. You could go earlier at Metro Diner (though you'd be crazy to get up that early on the weekend!) because they open at 6:30 am everyday!

Good news is Peach Valley and Metro both offer free coffee outside while you wait, which in winter pretty great.

The 10 minute breakfast wait was well worth the experience. I got the Philly cheese croissant and a mimosa. Both were above my expectations. Our waitress Amy was very nice and kind. Very prompt service. 2 people happy as can be for 25$$.

Too bad I tried contacting the restaurant directly, thru their multiple "confirmation of your order emails" but they're conveniently "Do Not Reply"

Super glad I placed an ONLINE ORDER for MY food... Only to have them "not get it" (Again, see confirmation emails). Then they bag it all up with OTHER PEOPLE'S FOOD. My food was alone for a reason. That's why, obviously, it wasn't include in the larger order.

So glad I got confirmation & got to wait an hour for food. Super great service.

I don't know what is going on, this used to be one of my favorite breakfast places, but lately it seems like there's an issue EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Especially with To-Go Orders. Not to worry, won't be affecting me again. I give up.

Also, ordered corned beef hash & requested "very well done, please burn it" & that was interpreted as "only cook one side".

This place is wonderful, during our first time we had Andrew as are served and he was fenominal, he had great menu suggestions for us as well as very attentive and happy. Our second visit we had Tim as our server and he was amazing as well. Cannot wait to move up here fully and make this a frequent breakfast stop. Food was delicious and prices were very fair. A MUST breakfast stop if your in the area.
