Don t go here if you have other options. Low quality, unprepared, rude, uncoordinated, and very unprofessional care team and services including doctors and nurses. You will be lucky if you get out of this hospital alive. I delivered my baby here and I am just thankful we got out of this hospital alive.
I work there. The facility is committed to providing quality care. The communication systems are sometimes detrimental to that mission. Overall I have been impressed by the work ethic I have witnessed the 4 months I have been working there.
We received EXCELLENT care for my 6 month old nephew here. The staff took such fantastic care of our little buddy and us. I can not say enough good things about the staff here at Phelps pediatrics. I am very thankful for all they have done for us.
We were here in the emergency room and pediatrics department for 4 days.
I was just in the ER this last Sunday. They were very busy and when I got a room, I was concerned about the care I was going to get... Fortunately my amazing nurse, Kayle (sp), came to aide and another nurse, apologize for not remembering your name, did a great job taking care of me! Also, all the techs were terrific, especially the bald guy, again I apologize for not remembering your name. Thank you all! Great Job!

I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on August 10, 2019. I had given birth in Dallas Texas and in Austin Texas. This child was my last child to complete my family. I had the best epidural. Fantastic delivery nurses , and an excellent team of baby nurses and a top rate pediatrician & a very handsome OBGYN.
I can't say enough kind things about the staff who cared for me and my family. My baby stayed the night, one evening, after I was discharged to treat her jaundice. It is such a good feeling to walk out of a hospital with your new baby and not be traumatized by poor medical care. This was not the case. I was treated like a movie star and my baby was well taken care of. I can not thank you all enough . I had a great birth with lots of medical interventions and not once did I ever feel anxious or scared.

Almost impossible to get through to a human for help. Automated phone system is ridiculous!
We had an amazing experience with Phelps Health on 1 February. My husband had to have a surgical procedure and from the time we walked in at the front, until the time we left, after the procedure, we had nothing by warm, kind, professional experiences.
The personnel doing entry screening and the main entrance front desk staff, were kind and positive....it made for a positive beginning!
Then, a nurse from surgery came to take us to the surgery area and she was just so full or energy and kind. Then, we saw several nurses, the anesthesia personnel, the cardio person, and the doctor, who were all just so pleasant and cheerful. They explain things and made us laugh and kept my husband from feeling so anxious. I can't say enough about how great our overall experience was. Point of entry started the greatness and surgery recovery staff ended on greatness. Thank so much to everyone who took care of us.
Always great care and friendly staff and nurses. I'm usually seen in a timely manner, but with the pandemic CoVid-19 they are very busy and overwhelmed. The flow is cautious and slow because of sanitation and procedures to protect themselves and the patients. Normalcy is not the same anymore, but I appreciate their precautions.
