So it s been about a month and so far payroll is super easy. However we have vendors and customers outside of the us and it has been a nightmare trying to get this figured out. Patriot does not support anything outside of the us. I can at least enter their address info into the notes to bypass this issue for now. However had we known this would be an issue we would have just gone with quick books. No it is not listed on their introduction page nor in any information I was given. It s only on the faq page once you have purchased. We were really excited about supporting local but it s irrational to think that a company shouldn t do business outside of the us. I will say EVERY single person I have spoken through during our set up was extremely nice even if they were not completely knowledgeable. Final thoughts. The payroll side is great the accounting side is eh. They only got three stars because of the nice customer service.

This is the best software I've used for payroll, especially since it was to pay a nanny. Very simple at tax time, very inexpensive and efficient staff to help with any problems. I would recommend this software to anyone!

I got the email for employee portal access. Setup my account...applied for W-2 online access. Waiting for direct deposit setup but my employer doesn't exist. Well just few hours back I got the invite to join the employee portal. Tried calling the Customer service - they have all the ways not to reach out to human agent. Finally after 25 minutes of wait - i got to talk to somebody and Cinnamon is telling me that my employer account is cancelled. No reason told. Is this payroll company or some kind of joke?

Setting up the basic payroll is real pain. Asked for help - I was told that screen sharing software is not working. I was told send an email and they will get back to me after 7-10 business. Sorry - I don't want to do business with you any more.

This software is great unless you need support. I have called at least 5 times and spend many hours on the phone, mostly on hold, for one issue and it is still is not resolved. This is an issue with their software not calculating local taxes correctly. They are so nice on the the phone and they say they will get back to you and it never happens. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone!! Update: After I posted my review they called me although I did not answer the call because I did not know if was them. I did call support to see why my issue had not been fixed. They had in fact fixed the payroll data by making quarterly entries and not fixing each paycheck, which will be a problem if I need to run reports for an audit or a bank.

This is a great place for small businesses to check out if they require payroll. The staff is very helpful and understands their product.

Wish I could give a 0 star review. Worst customer service I have ever seen in the United States. Do not give them business. Lousy person who answers the phone, and does not know how to talk to customers. Extremely Rude. They have a single person who answers the call. Took 30 mins to answer a question. Did not know the difference between 940 and quarterly forms.

I have dealt with Patriot and their support team in setting up my account and they were terrific! They pointed me in the right direction to get answers to my questions to ensure the proper settings in my account! I'm looking forward to a long relationship with Patriot!

Makes payroll easy. The software is all online so I can access it from any computer, or even my phone. The TaxBeGone add on saves me even more time and has made me not have to worry about whether I am doing my payroll and payroll taxes correctly.
