WCs are always ridiculously busy, and at the entrance it can be mentioned that you can go with a physical ticket in a faster row that does not require the use of a scanner.
Nice that there are no breaks, nice and close to the station, not so much to complain about.

I think Pathe Groningen is a very nice cinema in the middle of the city on the muted Zuiderdiep, but the sound is very loud. Furthermore, very nice staff and delicious coffee. I love going to the cinema at Pathe and I can recommend it to anyone. Just an old-fashioned cozy evening CINEMA. Nice out. Very nice films are running at the moment so plan a nice evening at Pathe.

Pathe comes across as a cozy theatre with moderately priced tickets. The cinematic viewing experience isn't the greatest but is doable. The selection of movies they have at their disposal is pretty good. Always nice to see a bit of bollywood too. Tickets are always available as the screens are rarely housefull so that is always a plus point. The food can be a bit expensive but it is always nice to have a starbucks coffee dispenser. Do try the salsa with the melted cheese.

When we arrived on a Saturday seemed nice to go to the movies with the National Cinema was different.
It started at the machine but you must buy tickets, here you can choose seats but with two people, you can not specify where you would like to sit when there are three seats next to each other freely in a row. When I asked how it worked on an employee was told at the door that he was in control of tickets, I had to ask colleagues for help (the fellow was alone) but was busy helping someone else. After a minute (which was the first co-operate to make the cards nothing ....) I was helped.
The man explained to me that you can reserve side not two of the three spots with two people because there is one unsellable place left (this snap, I just do not give to you which you choose), and you only greenhouses can pay the National Cinema voucher.
The cashier called "info" and there were two cash registers available, unfortunately not enough for a movie like this in Groningen.
Because of all the whining with the machine we decided to walk on to the forum image a little further on to Hereplein 73, Groningen. Here you just have to pay and there are even people that help you ....

Wad, the film

"Wad, survive on the border of water and land",
Viewed.
A beautiful film about everything that lives in and on the Wadden Sea.
Seals, fish, crabs, birds and special skies are beautifully portrayed by Ruben Smit
Really a must, especially for those who love nature films.

I reserved 4 places for the film Soof2 via the reservation line before December 8th. Hereby I could not indicate that I have 4 tickets from the postcode lottery. Hopefully this gives no problems at the checkout.

In my opinion the best option for catching a movie in Groningen. they provide a decent selection of movies in OT and also some Indie productions. The sneak preview on Tuesdays is always worth to check out as the tickets are cheap and the movies they play typically worth watching! Only downside for me are the small screens and the sub par sound in some theaters.
