Amy's Academy is a wonderful daycare center/pre-school. My son has so much fun there and comes home talking about all he has learned. The teachers are kind, reliable, and communicative. I cannot say enough about Amy s Academy - I have had two children there and they both absolutely loved it from the first day. The teachers are warm and loving and truly care about the children and their families. It is truly a gem in the PLG neighborhood.
My 3 yr old has been very happy at Amy's. The teachers are great and he learns a lot. It's in a Brooklyn Brownstone with a great backyard and the kids get to play outside any day that it's not raining.
Amy's Academy is a wonderful daycare, with kind and thoughtful staff. My daughter has grown there so much, and also has met wonderful friends.
Amy's does everything possible to nurture and grow the children. Pre COVID they had "specialist" come in to do activities, that my daughter looked forward to each week, as well as taking the kids out to explore the neighborhood (and making Greenlight one of my daughters favorite destination). They have a great space with a large backyard, so the kids have plenty of time outside to supplement the different areas and activities they do each day inside.
Through COVID they have been incredibly communicative, reaching out to parents to try and support the community in the best way they can. They are responsive to any parents concerns, and have been amazing helping our family adjust to this really difficult time. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a daycare.
