Great cinema. Good offers. No breaks for long films either, I personally find that a shame. But it can also have advantages.

At pathe groningen you can have a different experience every time, some rooms are very large with good sound and other times you are crammed into a small room, the seats are not that nice and it is all just not. There is no pause during the film.

Top cinema! You can order your tickets online and you can see how busy it is during the film. The food and drinks are very pricey. The rooms usually have good sound and a good picture. Definitely recommended to grab a movie!

The staff are very friendly. Despite it's a big cinema, it's always kept clean,but it's very unfortunate that they don't have Imax !

The theatre seems outdated and much of the food isn t kept warm while it s supposed to be.

We went to Joker. Great movie, but the review is not about that. Pathe Groningen, mega-busy, right in the middle of the city and even lacking space for parking bicycles. You have to cram through the crowd upon entering, because the entrance capacity leaves something to be desired. As a result, people are intrusive, the ticket system doesn't seem to appeal to visitors. Then you arrive in "the shop" because you are not allowed to bring anything yourself. Buying there and then taking it is allowed again, but Mr Pathe has made up a hefty price for that. I understand that, but should that really be so much more expensive than in the super? The visitors can't help it that Pathe has been scammed for 19 million. Positive though ..., the seats are well shattered and high one after the other row after row. Disadvantage ..., if you end up in one of the front rows, on the side, (by the way also in the front) you grow an outright neck hernia. Why don't those chairs even look like a semi-circle? That would be an improvement. And if you have no place to put them in a semicircle ... why don't you turn the chairs slightly towards the center of the canvas? Someone who sits at the very front right literally looks at the right side of the life-size canvas. Does Mr. Pathe want to sit there himself?

Central location close to the city centre. Excellent choice if you're on foot or by bike. It's not very accessible by car.

There is always room in a room, good films, can be busy at the entrance, a bit dark hall / staircase, but that fits in with a cinema, of course, clean toilets and plenty of it, great cinema rooms

An entire cinema room for only 2 people. And yet they let the movie continue. You would say that cannot be done. In any case, a nice experience for my granddaughter.

Nice cinema and if you go on Tuesday at noon also very quiet, 5 people in room 1 and no break :) quality of seats and sound is fine. Only point for improvement, the air conditioning does not have to cool if there are few people. It was really too cold.

Place itself is okay. Easily accessible, but there's a bit of a waiting time, during busy hours. The taste of the food and the drinks are just as you'd expect from your standard cinema.

The only problem I really have with the place are the seats. If you're over 1,70 metres, you might have a hard time. I'm 1,94, and sitting wasn't the best experience for me.

As for the rest? The place looks nice, is clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Large theatres and good selection of concession foods.

Simple. It's a cinema, where you watch movies. Nothing special, it does what it has to do. Btw if you go in the morning, don't buy pop corn, probably it's from yesterday, way too salty, that is almost sour. Stick with pre-packed products, if you wish.

If you are in room 6, do not grab the top row because you will have little legroom

Friendly staff, because of corona the shop is closed dhs no popcorn etc, gave us the tip to run to bio shop and take some with us very thoughtful!
