The people here are so kind, and it's a pretty nice place.
Not safe for young children. I witnessed a pack of drunk 25 year olds (approx) rough housing and then one wiped out a mom skating with her your daughter. Nothing was done. Very unsafe for small children.
Haven't ice skated for long time and came here on a whim with some friends. Overall had a pleasant experience and the pricing seemed good. We had fun memories and got to skate to out hearts content. The rentals seemed a little abused and not as sharp, but I guess you can say that with most ice rinks.
Overall nice but it can be dangerously packed on weekend or holidays. Banding machine is often broken. I wish they have their own parking lot but I know it's Pasadena thing...
Glad a place like this exists but it does get crowded sometimes and the ice can definitely get choppy. Otherwise, it's a pretty nice place. Skates are decent and general accommodations are enough and the staff was quite friendly!
Not sure if the place is still open but I use to like playing hockey here bcuz it was a bit smaller than most of the rinks we played so the games were always a bit more fast paced & you could skate a lil longer shifts... Fun little rink for a family skate.
Crowded.
"Fun. But the shoes hurt."
Fun place to go ice skating ... It's also a big place which gives you room to fall haha
My daughter is taking lessons from some of the absolute best athletic professional instructors. The staff is courteous, and professional. The hours and location is convenient. Well maintained. Locker rental.
Great rink, wish there were more open skate hours and cheaper parking, otherwise- big fan
Fun. Ok pricing. Wish there was adult only skate times.
Nice rink with lots of figure and ice skating programs for kids and adults. My biggest complaint is that parking is only slightly discounted to skaters in a lot across the street, but the same lot give 2 free hrs to shoppers from the nearby mall. Metered Parking is the next best option, but requires quarters.
Awesome place, especially compared to what it used to be. 2 drawbacks, no pro shop and no showers.
Awesome place for kids, just make sure to bring your own helmet!
Hollywood Curling club was awesome. Who knew it took so much time and work to prepare the ice rink for a curling match. Cameron, is an excellent instructor. My class had a mixed group from date night to better than bowling or Game of Thrones is over need a new hobby . My team scored closest to button, not bad for a two hour lesson. Highly recommend for under $30.00.
It was a fun experience ice skating for the first time
Great place to have a party for kids and young kids at heart. This is fun place but you need to practice roller skating.
Fun time, okay for someone's first time. A lot of children,.but they do an okay job not crashing into you.
Fun to watch the skating, but my kids refused to get on the ice.
Ice condition is good, compare to other. Cool place to come and enjoy ice skating best for hot summer Love this place. Want to come again.
Located next to the convention center, this is an exceptionally well run rink. The staff and friendly and helpful. Skating lessons, free skate, hockey and summer kids camp are all on offer. The instructors are friendly and easy going and my kids have had great experiences. Validated parking (partially offsets the cost) is available in the lot across the street, and limited street parking is available.
Had birthday party and they were very nice. But it is a small enclosed room and very blue walls and plain that is the downside.
Have gone two times and will go again. I always have a great time with my friends and family
Great place. The best ice skating center in this area. Private coaches are awesome.
It's a regular rink but some how the experience is magical. I enjoyed the updated skates
A little expensive, $14 for admittance and skate rental. Rink is quite crowded and there are a LOT of little kids.
This place is fun, you could rent skates and just skate around for fun.
The staff was fantastic! First time taking my kids skating and everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to another evening if ice skating very soon.
Wasn't a huge fan, workers were rude but it was busy so I imagine they were having a rough time dealing with the big crowd.
Rather crowded on the day we went. We went with young kids and they got pretty freaked. They were very kind to give a refund.
Its okay, the arena is nice and across from a mall, however no snack bar and no parking (free) kinda sucks... and the vending machine took my $, be aware!
The workers over there are really rude , especially the cashier . They act like they hate their job and they hate the customer , I was a regular customer over there for six months I go there every week . However I can't stand this rudeness attitude of the cashier, I stopped going there ever since two weeks ago. It's pretty much runs by knowledge-less young stuff. Instead of caring customer collecting money and giving a good service to customer the stuff in the front will only care they are own conversation. The supervisor was being a "manager" to talk to my friend and trying to embarrassing him . They stop me to knock on the managers door which was right next to the cashier room . I really don't think they know what is service mean to them . Some of the workers are kind of being races ,
Lunch bunch skate was nice. Crowd was light, but some figure skaters act like they own the entire sheet. I had to dodge a few that felt they had right of way along the dashers, even though main flow of traffic was going along the boards. Ice was in "ok" condition... but is typically the case for a public afternoon public skate.
Way nicer than I remember. Super clean and lots of helpful staff. Skating lessons taught by competent and caring instructors.
It's a nice big rink with good prices. Great place to bring the kids. The free skate times have weird hours. But check the calendar on the website to stay up to date.
Fun place to skate and hang out with the family
My granddaughter went skating for the first time. The staff was fabulous, helped in anyway they could.
Easy to find. Parking is all around. Admission fee is $10 and rentals is $4. So its a reasonable price for 3 hours of skating. It was pretty packed on a Saturday night so it was expected. Staff members were helpful. Lockers are a ONE TIME USE.
The place is good, however it does not have a free parking. It has a parking with partial validation. The quality of ice is not good.
Nice facility but the owner is quite arrogant and rude. If you decide to come here, avoid the owner.
I like this place more than PickWick. Friendly staff and pretty clean for an ice skating rink.
Staff is always great! Friendly environment and it's nice to have an ice skating rink nearby.
Very pretty
Public sessions are fun
Ice is pretty thin for figure skaters.
My daughter is currently taking lessons here. Instructors are awesome, well supervised, great family fun
I learned how to skate there and now it has been about 3 years I have skated there. My first competition is coming up soon too. There staff is so nice
This is a GREAT ice rink. Nice and spacious, and a good amount of locker rooms (which can fit a team, unlike some other rinks in so-Cal). Nice and cold as well, which is great for hockey and curling. The only problem which prevents the fifth star from being added is that fact that parking is a big pain. Unlike other rinks, this rink doesn't have its own parking lot. Though there is a nearby parking structure, they do charge a pretty expensive price, knowing that the rink doesn't have its own structure. There are also some street-side parking slots, but they often get filled fast. Don't worry kids, it's your parents problem (you just play good hockey, that's all). Despite this, the rink is an outstanding facility for hockey, and I highly recommend going.
The skate instructors are all nice and work well with the students. However, most of the rink staff are rude, arrogant, and unprofessional. If this review was based only on rink staff (non-instructors), they would receive one star.
Great ice, cheap cover. Sometimes we are down a goalie though. Fridays nights are hype.
Fantastic program with reasonable prices. My girls love taking lessons fro. The supportive staff.
Average ice skating rink. A little cramped but its a popular place, so its understandable.
Service was friendly and the facility was clean, but the skates were dull and the ice was very pitted.
Very good rink. Clean, spacious and right air conditioner temperature set.
Very popular and can get very crowded on the weekends. Good place to have kids burn off extra energy.
An amazing space. I really enjoyed myself watching the skaters but remember to bring a coat. Parking is easily accessible but you'll need to pay, because free parking can be hard to find.
But I think it's worth it to be with friends.
Great Family entertainment at a reasonable price. They gave me their WiFi password to use even though I was not a customer. Thank You
great teachers. My son is taking class here. Andrew and Melody are great teachers.
