Pure joy to walk through its gardens and the palace itself is so beautiful!
Pure joy to walk through its gardens and the palace itself is so beautiful!
Charming with beautiful park. Not so full of tourists so a great break from the hustle and bustle.
A few years ago, it has been restored and is one of the most peculiar places in Sintra. Watch out for the library doors. It is a real treasure.
Small "palace" but definitely worth a visit! The botanical gardens that surround the palace are absolutely beautiful.
It is a very nice park to spend the day with the family, I recommend, in fact I plan to go again.
Absolutely loved it.. incredible little palace, the details of architecture were breathtaking for me. Even though I went in January I have fully enjoyed - gardens are amazing I can only imagine what they are like in summer!!!
Really wonderful. My favourite place around Lisbon.
Montserrate Palace is amazing.
Incredible architecture and grounds with a well done exhibit of the palaces history. Less crowded as a bonus!
Charming and peaceful palace. Beautiful decorations on the ceilings, walls and windows. It is a small palace, but we have loved it. A little gem.
The well-kept gardens, the different routes well marked. Very nice.
We have eaten in the cafeteria with affordable prices and above all quality.
It is one of the palaces of Sintra that we liked the most
With parking, and without the overwhelming agglomeration of the Pena Palace.
An extraordinary place worth visiting. One of the most beautiful and well-kept gardens and romantic palaces of Sintra, where we are always greeted by a very helpful, friendly and competent staff.
Excellent cafeteria.
The gardens are huge and sublime! It takes many hours to go around!
Less crowded than other Sintra palaces. Very original site and beautiful gardens.
It is very beautiful, but it cost 8 and many of the roads were closed
The palace and its architecture, the gardens, the environment that surrounds it, the nature ... in a word ... beautiful !! A pity that we left it for last, because we did not have much time to soak up its history and get lost in the immensity of its gardens. 100% recommended.
Magnificent location, with stunning beauty. Rich in natural landscapes and palace architecture rich in history and art.
This was a nice change from the crowds at the main tourist attractions. Many shrubs, trees and plants we have never seen before. Beautiful valley that the trail follows. For those that are mobility challenged there is a shuttle to get from place to place. The Palace is equally impressive. Well worth the effort to visit.
Could you imagine that this park did not excist on the 60s. Super awesome place to do a pickin
Just beautiful park and not as crowded as the other attractions in the area - worth it
Beautiful gardens immaculately restored. I loved it.
Worth seeing but as always for the Portuguese it's a little expensive
Excellent for strolling and getting to know, huge gardens.
Ideal for family outings or with friends. Palace and charming garden.
Very pleasant park with very beautiful trees and plants
Great place to spend a few hours. Beautiful palace and crowds basking on the railing lizards. Take care of your feet - you have to walk a lot up and down. A good option to walk without crowds of tourists.
Amazing gardens. Luxurious and very Moorish interior
Beautiful park but the palace is not up to the other palaces visited on sintra. In addition, this place is very far from other palaces and no way to go on foot.
Original neo-Gothic palace with an immense botanical garden where you can lose yourself in the paths and enjoy the calm and the different exotic species that it houses. Wonderful collection of giant ferns!
Very expensive entrance (8 ) even the tourists at doors frightened. For the tour that is found very expensive. Palace is beautiful and full of details. Part of the park was closed
A splendid place. We went early in the morning (9.30 opening hours in the summer, 10 in the winter) so there were very few people and we were able to freely enjoy the beautiful gardens and the Moorish-style building. Too bad it visited in August as the rose garden was now faded, see it during flowering should be a magical experience. Free parking with picnic area in front of the park.
unmissable place on sintra. the park is magnificent as well as the palace
A huge dreamlike park, concocted from different cultures with a wonderful imposing palace that is just as dreamlike as its surroundings !!!!
Definitely recommended, especially for botanists and architecture enthusiasts, as well as for young and old with or without a wheelchair!
A wonderful cafe is of course also there!
Was one of my highlights in Sintra !!!
I was completely flabbergasted with my loved one!
The appearance is not special, it is super beautiful after entering! If you have time, you can go shopping in the garden.
Completely empty palace. The "romantic" style did not speak to me but nevertheless impresses. The park is a very good memory. Perfect visit with kids
